I'll be making my first trip to HW this friday, and I just thought id ask to see if there's anything special I should know about the park that I dont allready. I know about the free soft drinks, and how the park is less crowded mid-day because everyone is in the waterpark. Is there a certain ride besides the obvious two that I should be sure not to miss? And how good is the water park, im still debating wether to go to it or not...I'll have one full day, and it looks like a pretty small park, so I was planning to do both in the same day, but I dont know. Anywho, any other general tips would be appreciated, I wouldnt want to miss anything good.

You can do it all in one day. Other than the coasters and the double shot there aren't too many 'full size' or 'real' rides at the park. The waterpark is pretty good. It has a Tornado, two family raft rides, some older style slides, and a wave pool.

Free unlimited soft drinks...but it's Pepsi!!!!!

Get there at opening and hit a couple of the low capacity flats. Walk down to SS and get in as sooon as they open. Hit the funnel and Zoombabwe first then enjoy the rest of your day doing everything else at your own pace.

Of course, don't forget to ride the Raven as late as possible.

^Everything he said is everything we did and had a BLAST. So much so, planning another trip there. Im not too far, but not too close at 6.5 hours via highways.

I was fortunate to get re-rides in both front seat and back on Raven as well as THE very last ride of the day on Raven which was the most absolutle ridiculous ride out there. Period. Just get in line as they close the gates somewhere around 20-30 minutes before close (depends on line). Worth the wait by far.

I could go on and on about how much I love that park now. Its such a beautiful place with awesome rules and even better attractions and park.

^ He's talking about the fact that Castles N Coasters is an "RC Cola" park. You know how most parks are either "Coke Parks" or "Pepsi Parks"?

I always find it funny when a park is not one of the two majors! Usually says something about that park!
