coasterlover420 Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 I hear that an Intamin rocket coster is going to be built at SFOT.
SharkTums Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Maybe they're just moving Kingda Ka! Elissa "Ride Rotation Program!" Alvey
coasterlover420 Posted July 13, 2005 Author Posted July 13, 2005 I don't think SFGA would give it up.
pgathriller Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 ^ I would give it up. It has been broke down more than it's open. I would let someone else deal with the maintanence.
coaster1 Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 SFOT doesn't like INTAMIN, hence why we got an S&S tower instead of the proposed INTAMIN Gyro.
SharkTums Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 It was kind of a joke! Elissa "silly intamin rides" Alvey
coaster1 Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 To them INTAMIN is .. hence why Tower took 3 years to rehab .. Actually saw the Gyro plans, 350 feet .. same place as Superman .. but with SFOG's issues and SFOT's unhappyness with INTAMIN, we got S&S. I still would of prefered the B&M Hyper instead of Titan, but that would of meant the end of Shockwave
Coasterkid20 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Why does SFOT need anything new, in terms of selections of rides they are at the top in the SF chain. I would hope more neglected parks would get new rides, SFSTL are you hearing me!? I'm happy they got SF worlds of Adventure Q-Bot, but they don't have enough rides!
SonOfBeastSucks Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 ^ I certainly agree with you there. SFSTL doesn't have near enough. Batman is fine but you can ride it everywhere else, Boss, Eagle and Freeze are also decent but the park doesn't have anything that is wonderful. SFFT also needs more.
coaster1 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Why does SFMM or SFGadv need more rides, simply they are the Flagship parks like SFOT, plus SF Inc has to keep the park investors happy with SFOT and SFOG since SF Inc does not own those two parks.
coasterdude5 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 That'd be good if Texas got a tall one. The south needs more!! Watch, they'll make it 455.9 feet just so Great Adventure won't have to take down all their signs!
coaster1 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Cedar Point still hasn't removed theirs, as of June 3rd .. at least theirs operates
