I was driving on a highway earlier this month outside of Savannah, Georgia and saw a large plot of land and a sign that said being developed by Clearwater Acres Entertainment Corporation. I headed home and searched the name, found out that there is anew park that is planning on opening in the spring of 1. There is yet to be a press release but I have gotten a few pictures of the construction so far. They have mainly ripped up the grass and started on the Entrance Plaza.

BTW: I am leaving for a two week expedition in Canada on Saturday, so there will be no new updates after this week until July. Please comment give suggestions, if you don't like the name feel free to suggest another. ANYTHING is appreciated.

So, i intended to put more up short after my first update... but my sister is using my computer to write a chore list. So i haven't been able to work on it at all. Once she is done i will do some more and post some by tonight.

^ that was just temporary... its green now... i was just waiting till the rest of the area was done to change it.

Ok, I plan on posting another update later tonight, but i wanted to know if anyone knew if and where i could get custom scenery signs for things like starbucks, burger king, mcdonalds, doughnut time, etc.

Ok, another small update. All i was able to do was make the buildings around the front plaza and stuff. I would still appreciate it if anyone could tell me if there is a custom scenery pack with signs for starbucks, Doughnut time, etc. If no one can find those things could someone point me in the direction of how to make your own scenery (signs are all i would be making).

Looking MUCH better now!

My only complaint is those 2 tall signs right behind the main entrance. PLEASE get rid of those...

Other than that, good work!

Another Update

First off, I'm changing the year to 0 so that I don't get to year 2015 and not have any new types of roller coasters to make.

There has not been much progress since last time I visited the park. But the tall ugly signs were removed, a new show has been built and there are signs of a coaster for the opening season. Hopefully most of the signs for the restaurants and show will be replaced, but like i said, I have to either find them, or learn to make them (any help with that would be appreciated). Now onto the pictures.

SCR10.BMP

The tracks have appeared for what looks like to be the first roller coaster. A Schwartzkopf Jet Star/ Jumbo Jet. Obviously this park has some stuff from both new and old.

SCR9.BMP

The Ride with no scenery.

SCR8.BMP

The New 3D show; Disaster at The Grand Ole' Opry. I really don't like this name. Any suggestions on how to improve it would be great, including a new name.

SCR7.BMP

The signs for Starbucks and Donut Time were also added. And the two large signs were removed.

SCR6.BMP

The Gift Shop and Guest Relations have received their signs.

Looking ok, but its rather boring, in my honest opinion. I see potential, and like what you did with hacking for the small details. But I think its boring. Don't know what it is, maybe trees, land coloring, but its boring to me.

Yes, it is a tad bland...

Anyway, I have no idea how to make custom scenery (signs), but I like the architecture anyway. I'm a fan of your design; how everything is packed in together. Very realistic!

I'll have to wait to see that coaster before I make my final judgment, though

Thank you, I plan on doing landscaping and adding trees. I will hopefully get a day or two to work on it before I'm off to Canada. I will post another update as it comes.

Construction of the coaster came and went. It has been fully constructed, the area around it landscaped, and many trees planted to improve the atmosphere. The station has not yet been started and the trains have not been sighted. It takes up a small space in the front by the entrance and has a similar design to Broca a roller coaster of the same type in Columbia, South America.

THE PARK NEEDS A NAME FOR THE ROLLER COASTER if you have any suggestions for a name, new color, or way to improve the ride, please post. Any help will be appreciated.

The park has been doing construction very fast. It is interesting how they are working on it, usually a new park will do many things at once, while this park is focusing on one thing at a time and completing it before moving on to the rest of the park.

The coaster looks pretty good, especially the "main body" part! You do plan on adding a station building though, right?

Posted

^Yes, definitely!

By The Way

I don't plan on adding anymore scenery because it is getting annoying thinking of things I want to add and having to re add all the rides and shops again. So if you were planning on helping with any of the CS stuff, don't bother. I will just use the ones I was planning on making for my next park.

Well, I'm leaving tomorrow morning at 6 A.M to go to Canada. As for the last two days i have been making sure everything is packed for the trip, I have not been able to work on the park very much. All I was able to do is a station for the coaster. I wanted something modern, so I kinda experimented. Please tell me which of the two stations you guys like best, hopefully the topic will stay alive over the break. See you on July 3rd.

By the Way

Although there is yet to be a press release for the park, I saw signs around the coaster that say "Jet Star", I'm assuming the station they were going withs=was supposed to be like an airport type thing.

Oh Yeah, The trains have been placed on the track too, No testing, but the trains have been spotted. Testing probably wont start at least until there is a press release for the park.
