snoodog
It was my birthday on June 10 so we took a trip Myrtle Beach, SC vacation and I got an annual pass and stopped by for three days. Led Zeppelin is awesome. Not my favorite coaster, but in South Carolina it is the best. It is fairly intense. Not as intense as say Kumba, but more intense than most other B&M sit-downs. It has a bit of head banging, but it is still fun. The trim brake after the cobra roll is barely turned on which is good, but the MCBR is too powerful. It might need to be broken in. I rode this 15 times. The pre-show gets kind of boring after seeing it 2 times. Eagles: Life in the Fast Lane is the best Mine Train I have been on. It is rather smooth for a Vekoma, but still has its rough spots. No waits at all, so I rode this 24 times. Shake, Rattle, and Roller Coaster is a fun, little coaster. I am six foot four inches so both times I got stuck in the restraint. It has nice theming for a coaster that small. Unfortunately, I wasn't there for Maximum RPM to be open but it looked interesting. Slippery When Wet is a fun inverted water coaster. Not near as good as RollerSoaker or Super Saturator, but it is fun. I barely got wet but still something fun to do when your at the park. NOTE: Lines are long... With slow dispatch plus low hourly capacity and it being 100 degrees outside, lines will get long. Magic Mushroom Ride is a fun flat ride. It is a Huss Troika I believe. London Cab Ride makes you sick just looking at it. It looks like a Huss Breakdance but IDK. It is a whirl and hurl flat ride. All the King's Horses is the standard Merry-Go-Round. The Punk Pit is a bouncy thing like you rent for kids parties. Nights in White Satin- The Trip is the most awesome dark ride I have been on! It is just amazing, black lights everywhere, and 3-Deeeeeeeee! It is a great song and really is a must ride. Bad:( They need more water rides. Maybe a log flume and a river rapids ride. It is 100 degrees in South Carolina, so a water park thingy and a barely wet water roller coaster isn't enough. More flat rides. Mushroom, Cab Ride, and Merry-Go-Round isn't enough. Get a 160ft. tall Intamin Drop Ride or a S&S Double Shot. Maybe a scrambler and pirate ship and also a enterprise and a top spin. Those would make the place better. Just a Swinging is cool. It is a swing ride. Sorry. Not many pictures at all... ADMIN EDIT: Two mods have now had to edit your post to fix spelling, grammar, and formatting problems. You have been warned before in the past. If you create another post like this one you will be banned from TPR forever. CircaCG
I've been to the park quite a few times now(although never during the day) I really like what they have done here, its a really good mix of rides, shows, and other fun stuff to do scattered throughout the park. While none of the rides completely blow you away (well maybe The Moody Blues ride depending on your state of mind) , they are all for the most part very solid and a good foundation for this park as it will continue to grow. I've talked to Jon Binkowski who is pretty much the park creator and he keeps pushing the point that it isn't a roller coaster enthusiast park but that it is designed for everyone and that when you leave you'll feel like you have experienced something new and they do have a good variety of unique attractions. I think this is the right way to build a new park from scratch, over the years im getting tired of parks that just add roller coaster after roller coaster and ignore atmosphere and a unique experience. I already love the park, and its even motivated me to get back into shape (I go for a run to the park every night to ride Zeppelin once or twice then run back). They also have quite a few small plots of land scattered throughout the park that could easily hold some new flat or water rides so i expect something new to start filling out the park very soon... bobafett
I thought Don Vito was in jail for assaulting a couple for underage girls at a mall he made an appearance at last year? Boy is he creepy looking!

Kennyweird
You weren't kidding when you said 'small TR'. Thanks for sharing, though. Hard Rock park really needs to get on the ball. If they don't improve their service and attraction lineup, I don't see HRP lasting more than a few years.
CircaCG
They actually have very good service, consistently better than most parks that i've been to in the last few years. And while the Attractions list is a little smaller than most, i think people realize its a brand new park and that it will take time to fill out. There is still tons to do...just not necessarily for a roller coaster enthusiast. If the park doesn't make it after a few years it wont be because of service or quantity of rides, it'll be because Myrtle Beach is a weird place. The park is twice as crowded on tuesday and wednesday compared to the weekend where it is empty (very strange). The crowds are small right now due to bad advertising and marketing research...and no kids priced tickets...
