FeelTheFORCE Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 It's been a while since I've made a NL coaster, probably around a year. I decided that I am going to make a B&M Hyper this summer. I have yet to pick a name or colors. I'll update the title when I think of a name. Right now I have only a little bit more than the lift hill finished. I'll try and do updates as frequently as I can. Here is a little teaser picture for now.
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 If by original you mean elements I have made on my own and not ones taken from other coasters, then yes. Here is another update. I am just about done with the track work. Maybe some minor tweaks here and there, but other than that, I think it turned out pretty well. I will say this, though, this B&M Hyper is not like traditional ones with tons of airtime hills, it has a few, but I aimed more towards making twists and turns, than making it an airtime machine. Lastly, I will not be using the AHG, because I don't know how to, and I don't terra-form, my style is flat land. I'm trying to get as much done as I can because I'll be away from June 5 to June 18.
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 27, 2008 Author Posted June 27, 2008 Sorry for the lack of updates, but I went to New Jersey, then Cincinnati, then Cedar Point, so I've been pretty busy this month. I have tweaked the track work in some areas a little and I have started supporting. I'll try to post more pictures on Monday.
Kalepi_Konei Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Looks very cool, please make a POV for those of us sadly without NL. As for names and colors... Aviator - Light Grey/White Silhouette - Light Purple Thats all I can think of, but I think they sound decent...
Théo the little french Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Maybe you should incline a little less this curve, we can see 0.9G lateral, so it means this part is too much curved....
FeelTheFORCE Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 Fixed, thanks for pointing that out. That section is based on Dominator's ending as sort of a tribute. Picture from RCDB. Here is also another picture to add. Today I built the mechanism that is next to a break run so the track can slide over and be put onto the transfer track...whatever that's called. I am still debating on whether to build a storage shed or not. Since I don't do 3DSs, I would have to build it from scratch out of wood and steel beams, which would consume a LOT of time and probably significantly delay the release of the download.
