RIP Psyclone
Those are some great photos. They really give a good idea of the area. I have to admit, Chaos has piqued my interest. An 80 passenger train, seriously? I guess I'm just a sucker for strangely themed indoor roller coasters and dark rides.

An 80 passenger train, seriously? I guess I'm just a sucker for strangely themed indoor roller coasters and dark rides. Thank you RIP, I appreciate that. Ask and you shall receive. Did a quick search on YouTube and found these. Naturally, they're per they're respective authors/posters/smizmars/whatever. Reality15
Wow. I'm not one to talk about strange rides, but this one is really interesting. With only two ever built, it's really strange. Was Chaos scrapped when the park closed?
ETapley0687
^ Yep, it went to the Old Indiana Fun Park when it was taken from Opryland... They sat out in the field along with Screamin' Delta Demon, Rock N' Roller Coaster, and Wabash Cannonball. Rock N' Roller Coaster was sold to a Six Flags park and as of June 2006 I think the remains are completely gone now.
TheRapidsNerd
Part 3. Opry Mills Mall. I wanted to hate this mall. I wanted to shake my fist at it. I wanted to say Neee to it. I wanted to call it’s mother a hamster and fart in it’s general direction. How could it be worth anything after Opryland? Despite all that, I can’t hate Opry Mills. There are several things there I like. The carousels, Stingray Reef, Rain Forest Café, Dave and Buster’s, Orange Julius, all these things and others made it paletteable. I’d still much rather have the park, and Opry Mills is NO substitute, however, I did have a good time there and yes, would go back again. That said, here’s the last round of pictures. Bonus Video of DiVine! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRGLnVPuTAI Since Big Mike was vacationing in Mexico, he lent me his bad-a$$ biker escort. The man's resources are astounding. So is his 2008 Road Show thread, so check it out! Thanks Big Mike! And thanks to all of you for the nice words and taking time to read. Bye Bye Nashville. You're a great city and I always enjoy visiting. I will be back soon, especially for that Dippin Dots store! Bad McHair Day. Scooby’s being a McStalker, and Elissa is McShaking her head. Larry, I've only talked with you a couple times, but thought of you just the same. I think Lou needs the plate. How about you? Lou is a Betty Boop fan. That' s just a random fact I picked up. Not like I collect those facts or anything. At the retro pop culture store, saw much Betty Boop. So how's it going Lou? Gibson Guitars. Pretty cool to watch them put together the instruments, then be able to buy them. Ok, more like drool over them and figure the black market cost of a slightly used kidney. Giant needle sculpture. I thought it was so-so. Ok, so the whole broom thing didn't go exactly as planned. Think you can bring Opryland back? Waddya mean I should've bought the egg timer?! Mickey egg timer. Why didn't I buy this? "Hello, Marge? Which one was the Donut Party again?" Elvis, your thoughts? "Hold up. I...I think I ripped my pants..." Bass Pro. Mecca for camping and hunting. PETA, not so much. And you thought I was kidding. Now he'll never roam alone. Got my Orange Julius credit. Mmmmmm! It's like creamy orange sex in a cup. Here we see the proper use of the floor to ceiling projection screen. I think Beemer and Coaster05 could enjoy this. Speaking of golf, this was a country club and golf school. Putting greens, driving cages, etc. This one's dedicated to my fellow golf fans. Just don't take your bed sheets in here. Giant Rainforest Café mushroom wasn't enough, you say? How about trippy black-light golf? Some are thinking 'shrooms'. Others are thinking pasta sauce. Either way, "Your adventure begins here." Oh, I see your checking out my package. Yep, God gave me it, I signed for it... This fountain wall was worth a picture. Makes a cheery backdrop too. So a Tiger, DenDen and Larry go into a restaurant... There's a Regal Cinemas 20 and and IMAX. Hmmm....coaster PoVs in IMAX format. That could be fun. Boingy...Boingy...Boingy...I miss Animaniacs. Dave and Buster's = Showbiz for big kids. The claw in the prize game is as big as a water melon and they have square burgers like White Castle or Krystal. The Aquarium Restaurant. See fish. Eat Fish. Feel guilty for the halibut. Tingray Reef carousel. 1 of 2 at the mall. You can feed them and pet them and call them George and stroke their pretty feathers... Tingray Reef. The climbing while in the Sun and Sky outdoor store. Looked like fun. Not to be out-done by Six Flags, Opry Mills has a Johnny Rockets too. Heh, this one's been here a while though. Food court carousel. 2 of 2 at the mall. It has a spinning tea-cup. Uh-huh. Good plan. After all that walking around the hotel, I needed to sit down and have some lunch. Hail to the King baby!

Big Mike
I was talking to my biker escorts yesterday and they said that you were much more fun to hang out with than The Big Mike Road Show 2008! Great Job! Peace, Big Mike
Louise
Dude, I would have done one of two things in that Betty Boop area of the store: 1. Spent an absolute FORTUNE. 2. Bought nothing and then cried about it for the rest of the week. Soooo much amazing stuff. I have my eye on this flat that I'm totally planning to rent when I dig out of debt, and the little study there is totally gonna be a Boop room!!!! Oh, and nice report by the way, Michael. But really, it's all about Betty.

Great Job! You're too kind Big Mike. Much thanks! Soooo much amazing stuff. But really, it's all about Betty. Would love to see pics of the new flat when you get it and the Boop Room. I hope to have something of a Bettie Page jungle theme room someday, because, well, theming is fun. Lol! It is indeed about Betty(ie). That caption about the "Shrooms adventure" was one of the best I have seen on this site! Hillarious! oh and the pictures were great too! Appreciate both compliments much, considering your feelings about the subject. Also delighted to contribute to an awesome Opryland USA thread. Will be glad to link up/reorg my stuff to fit in with what you have. You know, it really is nice to get to know folks here a bit better. I've enjoyed this thread and talking with everybody. Makes a guy feel pretty good.
