Halloween Horror Nights: Reflections of Fear

^ Im with you on the EVP thing if you think about it....

Dead Exposure...when they take there photo the dead are exposed, yeah its definately EVP. I wonder if there going to have alot of Strobe Lights like in Cold Blind Terror from HHN 15, now that would be wicked sweet!

Like you cant see the scare actors until the strobe lights flash and they pop up and freak you out, that would be totally awesome!

Believe what you may, Im still believing its an EVP house. *crosses fingers* Unless suddenly can 100% positively prove me wrong, Im sticking with my story.

I'm telling you it's a zombie house. I don't have to guess.

O.k. I'm by no means well educated on this stuff but I saw on a few other forums that the tours maybe through actual movie sets this year? Is there any truth to this? I saw that they are doing them in the sound studious this year which was cool but having them on the sets to the movies would probably force me to buy 2 tickets just incase I lose one

Any thoughts? Anyone know any benefits of them having them inside this year?

I look forward to HHN more then I do my birthday!

My bad, was trying to get that last post out quick and overlapped thoughts a bit.

Anywho, since they are doing the houses inside the studious this year is there any chance they will be on the actual movie sets of movies?

This would be sweet but I somehow doubt Universal would do this.

I still don't understand where you're going with this, but have you seen the Sprung tents before? They're permanent structures. When you're inside them, you're indoors. Same goes for all the other house venues, with the possible exception of the Disaster queue. It's open air, but you still have a roof over your head. There aren't any outdoor houses this year. There haven't been any since 2003.

If you want to see movie sets, go to USH. That's their thing.

  • 4 weeks later...

Noticed today that they have added a case file to the website, Case 1. My guess is that it is either related to scary tales or the hallow. Since it talks about kids books, but then goes into the headless horseman in detail. Includes some pretty sweet concept art! I love the entrance design it looks sweet.

Edit: Also added audio, if you click on a link and it doesnt do anything turn your sound on, after its done some more typing will occur.

The psychiatrist icon sounds like it will be a female judging off the audio.

I too am already excited for this year, im glad they took a steep back from the last two years and trying a new concept with a new icon. Yes I loved jack and the director and all the others....but I want new charcters to like.

Has anybody heard any rumors about Hollywood's yet? I was curious because of the fire burning down part of the back lot what they are going to do for HHN

It would be cool if USH kind of played that into its own unique story. I dont think it would be disrespectful since as far as i know, there were no serious injuries, and it seems like it could be a good marketing campain.

- edit-

I did some digging around and found this interview about the upcoming event at USH and it sounds like more of the same which is really lame, imo.

I was really hoping the USH would eventually have a fresh new event simiilar to florida's, but I guess that's not the case.

Your right... at first I thought it was something from last year and then I heard that horrible A word...Again. I hope they at least change up the haunted houses so they are different... also I wonder if they are going to even bother with an icon type thing. I know they are worried about knotts, but if they keep copy pasting and not doing the wonderful things they are doing an Florida, people are going to go to knotts. Which i think I read in the other forum has 6 new to this year haunted houses plus some old ones.

^And I was looking forward to the new theme ! Too bad it will only be for Florida. Maybe they'll keep the three haunts, but change the House of Horrors to the new theme. Time will only tell...

(PS I wish they would update the USH more frequently like the orlando version!)

^ I dunno, I'd have thought a higher pitched male voice would have been slightly sharper than the one in the case study. I thought the icon would have been an older male originally, but the voice sounds female. It might make her actions more shocking as we always expect horrific violence from guys, just like some might have found the Storyteller more original 'cause she was an old grandma, Not something you'd expect (even if she wasn't the most active icon)

Just a thought...
