DBru Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Wow, great update! Your Halloween events are always amazing! But I'm now completely stumped about the new addition...
JuanSe_Colombia Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Cool very nice themeing! for the Halloween Hollow
Kalepi_Konei Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Wow this park is amazing just stumbled upon it today, love the horror halloween theme. As for the new ride I agree with rckrazy06 a rapids ride would really fit the bill in that area. I think a totally original heavily themed rapids ride would be awesome! As for names I would go with something like Creature From The Deep and have it circle around like a lake based sorta theming, that would be totally radical (yes I said radical, but I have rights to the word for I do surf.) Anyways thats just me, cant wait to see the progress... P.S. Nice demon head in the midway, really well done!
montezooma Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I just came across this park today and I have to say "Great Job" It has been really fun reading the thread from the beginning and watching it grow and improve with each season.
BuddyChrist Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 Wow, great update! Your Halloween events are always amazing! But I'm now completely stumped about the new addition... Thanks! The addition will surprise a lot of people I think Cool very nice themeing! for the Halloween Hollow thanks but its nowhere near the level I'd like it to be Im thinking a Rapids ride. Good guess, but that's not it! Wow this park is amazing just stumbled upon it today, love the horror halloween theme. Thanks a lot! Halloween is my favorite holiday, next year the event will get something even cooler! Sorry to put a damper on your guess, but it won't be a rapids ride! It will be pretty cool once you see the renderings! I just came across this park today and I have to say "Great Job" It has been really fun reading the thread from the beginning and watching it grow and improve with each season. Thanks! I really enjoy doing these Season updates, I'm glad that you read through them all so you can see just how much a park can change over the course of a few years!
BuddyChrist Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Mr. Illum loves to play with the public, today he sent a picture of something new in the park, but he won't say what it is, gives a good hint though. Hmm
angryemobeaver Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Nice pic, it looks great! Obviously it's a queue line, but for what..? A mine train?
brandon Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I can't believe I just caught on to this park. This is a great park. As for the ride I think its a family coaster.
BuddyChrist Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 Thanks everyone, I'm really taking my time in making this a great looking addition to the park! You're all guessing correctly, it is a family coaster! Thanks for the comments!
BuddyChrist Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 Here it is! Illum Hills announces Year 5 Additions! David Illum today unveiled his new additions to Illum Hills! A new western section will be added to the park right by Inferno with a new ride and show area! The new coaster is a being built by Arrow Development and is called Mine Mountain Madness. Guests will wind through a quiet Western town, complete with storefronts and dynamite, and then enter into the cavernous mine and wind up to the train that takes them around the area. Twists and turns await all those who dare brave the wild ride! A new show is also being added in the area to help entertain guests. The name of the show has yet to be determined, but it will be ready for opening day on April 4th!
Steffen_Dk Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 That looks really good - again That empty mine feeling is really good; I think, and I love the rock formations - how do you use that set; I just can't figure that out
BuddyChrist Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 That looks really good - again That empty mine feeling is really good; I think, and I love the rock formations - how do you use that set; I just can't figure that out Thanks! The set is pretty easy to use, but it can get tricky since they don't always interlock as nicely as I'd like them to, but it looks so real! Very cool! One of your best yet! Thanks, I'm really getting better at this! Mr. Illum has just notified the press that the ride has begun test runs!
DBru Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Whoa, that is cool! Could you possibly post a POV video?
rckrazy06 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Yah, I can't use RCT3 on my comp, I'd love to see a POV.
brandon Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 That looks awesome man, I've always loved mine trains.
BuddyChrist Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 I'll try and make a POV of it, for some reason my game goes really really slow when I try to record one, so I'll see when I have some free time! If I can't get it done, I'll ask someone who downloads the park to help me out! Thanks for the comment! Here's another preview before the update and download!
DBru Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 That...looks...AWESOME! I can't wait to see more, definitely my favorite addition so far!
BuddyChrist Posted June 13, 2008 Author Posted June 13, 2008 Thank you very much! This is the list of Custom Scenery that needs to be downloaded and installed into your RCT3->Style->Themed folder to see everything in the park. I'm going to make all of these linked to where you can find the CS to make it easier on you!
