Scaparri Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's either for the '09 attraction, or the 12th rider.
ahecht Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I'm going to guess that #6 DOES have an "I" somewhere, which would give:Â NANTIMI LIVES ON or INTAMIN LIVES ON Â You're probably right, but I still think it's "STOLEN MINIVAN"
CoasterEricHP Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^^^^ That HAS to be it.. makes way too much sense! Nice they took the time to screw around with us again!
Ccron10 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 So does this mean that they might do the same thing for the 2009 attraction that they did for Fahrenheit?
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 That just might be it, but what im thinking about is... heres Intamin water rides: http://www.intaminworldwide.com/iag/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=23&Itemid=33 There is the river rapids, but no wave pool. Will they redo Coal Cracker like screamscape said before but its not on the site anymore and they did repair the drop, but they still might do it. Just throw out it would be cool to see a Aquatrax but they got Roller Soaker, so I just forget about that. Another is that Intamin does not make, more so water park rides, body slides, wave pools, etc. So would you think Hershey is getting the first ever Intamin lazy river and wave pool? and that idea made me think of the Tsunami idea, but its not that. So if it would be a first ever Intamin lazy river or wave pool "Intamin Lives On" would fit perfectly. (If they would do that I think there might be a lot of amazingly awesome stuff with it.)
CoasterEricHP Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^ Intamin makes some awesome drop towers as well  I dont think Coal Cracker is going anywhere.. Canyon River Rapids on the other hand is a huge attraction that would free up tons of room for a Boardwalk expansion.
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Yeah they do. I want Hershey to get the one that is 390 ft and 84 mph, that be awesome. Â Yeah River Rapids is the most likely to go bye bye, but they did talk about repairing Coal Cracker, it is very old (1973 Arrow).
anthony b+m lover Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Somthing wierd is happening to hershey parks's website. its not letting me on and i checked on my phone 2. mabey there setting up a teaser for their 2009 atraction?
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 OK well I checked screamscape because they said they update later. I tryed to go on HP website but it didn't work, I thought it was my computer. So since you said that I checked again, it didn't work, I asked my sister, it didnt work. They are doing something.
Ccron10 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Intamin does still make Rapids rides so could CRR be getting a new layout, new theme and new boats? Or could there be a new ride that will interact with it? Â EDIT: That's strange, I doesn't load for me either. I wonder what they could be doing? Hersheypa doesn't seem to be loading either.
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Yeah, but that might be very difficult to do because that area is a tight area to do stuff because of the boardwalk and everything else, but I wish they took some catering areas they got a lot.
CoasterEricHP Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Yeah.. the website isn't loading for me either! Weird timing for a website problem!  I spent a few minutes and came up with what *I* would like for 2009.. lol The color scheme is much nastier than I envisioned  But in reality... who cares about 2009!?! We got Fahrenheit in 2008!!
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Yeah I just checked, still not working, I check at school tomorrow. Â Well that looks awesome, I love the color scheme. It fit good in that area the area between cool down with the blue and heat up red. That be awesome, that is awesome! I would love hershey to do what you would like them to do.
Ccron10 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^ I doubt that could happen after what happened at SFKK with the Superman Drop Tower. Â What company made the drop tower that HP supposedly owns? Â IMO I think this should be carried over to the 2009 HP thread.
natatomic Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^ Intamin makes some awesome drop towers as well  But it gets "cooler," remember? It's going to be a drop tower that drops INTO a wave pool.  Oh, and "Nantimi lives on?" Yeah, that's sounds pretty good, folks. Man, I go to pilates for an hour and I miss out on solving it.
CoasterEricHP Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^Pshhh.. it can be dropping from the red color.. to the blue color.. its all symbolic Natalie!
anthony b+m lover Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 that reminds me of pirates plunge from s&s
amusing_parks Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 People might believe that. It looks awesome. Hershey needs something other than frog hopper, like really 80+ that be awesome, but that is true about SFKK, but Hershey does a great job with there rides. Â That be a fun ride, plunging into the water.
CoasterEricHP Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Coal Cracker was just removed as well.. hope no one minds the new replacement. Â Alright.. done playing with Photoshop and going off topic.
anthony b+m lover Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 omfg , could you please be the new owner of hershey park
natatomic Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ^^LOVE. IT. Â Btw, the HP site is back up and running. Â Like how I edit pretty much all of my posts? Yeah, it's a little hobby of mine. Being anal, that is.
anthony b+m lover Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 ohhhh there's nothing new to the site, i wanted a teaser thing for the 2009 atraction
Ccron10 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Apparently they did change something. http://www.hersheypark.com/entertainment/shows.php I saw advertisements for those shows from back at STITP. -Beyond the Dragon Gate (a modified version of Velocity). -Lightning Strike  Also new are 2 strolling Bands: Ice Breakers The newest edition of strolling entertainment to Hersheypark will entertain you with accopella music from the 50’s, to current jazz and current pop vocals. ghost007jas Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 So someone said something about Tsunami earlier. Now someone may ahve said this, and I somehow missed it - but does anyone remember the Tsunami logo during the Nantimi madness? I believe it was a logo.. although it may have been the name of a certain page on the site.. But I'm putting my money on this being a teaser for 2009. Â Although Nantimi Lives On makes sense too. Â Man, I go to math for two hours and you guys figure it all out. I feel so left out .
