Coastinmiller Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Went on a 9 park, 6 day coaster trip over the fourth. No need to give TR as I am not one for beating a dead horse, but I had to post this one pic. It was waiting in line for S:UF in SFOG. The ride opened soon enough after the photo. I guess there was something wrong with the turntable. I just thought the pic was funny. Hopefully this one post, last time I tried this it didn't work. Fixing S:UF SFOG
redfoot12 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Booo! Tell us every single little thing that happened on your trip. (At least what parks you went to)
easytoremember Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 I have seen SUF break down many, many times, but I have never seen anything crazy like that.
coasterdude5 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Ah, just poke it with a stick, you can fix everything in the south that way...
Coastinmiller Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 Well the parks that I went to were Cedar Point(totally packed 8 rides in 12 hrs), Kings Island(1 day late for the reopening of SOB), Coney Island OH, Stricker's Grove, Camden Park, Dollywood, Lake Winne, SFOG and Carowinds.
Disney Dood Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 "Bessie! We gots anoder gator stuck in the brakes!" "Just poke it with a stick, Yokel!"
Swoosh Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Once they got it "fixed" did they use duct tape and C-clamps to keep it "fixed"? That always seems to work.
christianscoasters Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Come on guys. Does it matter if it's a stick or not? It got the job done right? Do you want them to go out and buy some fancy pole or just use the stick laying on the ground? It works just as well. It may be kinda funny when compared to other parks, but upon closer inspection, I consider it normal.
Coastinmiller Posted July 11, 2007 Author Posted July 11, 2007 i went to stricker's grove on July 4th, the are opened to the public on the 4th of july and 2nd saturday in Aug (or something like that)
christianscoasters Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 ^Um okay? What does that have to do with this thread?
Coastinmiller Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 ^Um okay? What does that have to do with this thread? if you look above your old entry, you'ss see I was answering sscamatt. That is what it has to do with this thread.
ECZenith Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 You gotta love the two mechanics behind him supervising this very complex fix.
