Update

Year 6

Well, I know what the ride is gonna be, but I can't tell you... But the announcement will be tomorrow, so you have that to look forward to.

It's gonna be big.

Park overview as of the Year 6 season.

Daschen signage is now up.

The line was pretty long today...

I like the turn up into the lifthill.

You get a great view of the lifthill from the Trailmakers show.

You also get a great view of the show from the queue. Everybody wins at Taiga Park.

More soon.

^ Not bad.

Update

Year 7 Announcement

The announcement leaked early!

ICE AGE - THE RIDE

NEW FOR YEAR 7 AT TAIGA PARK

Next season prepare to soar through the glaciers on ICE AGE - THE RIDE. Join your favorite characters from the hit movie and maneuver through dare-devil heights, all while in the "flying" position.

Riders will fly through one of the largest pretzel loops in the world, even larger than last year's Tatsu that broke records itself.

The new ride will anchor the Glacier Cove area that will feature shows that will be announced at a later date.

The seventh season of Taiga Park begins soon.

The coaster's pretzel loop towers over everything else.

That's gonna produce some nice forces.

I still can't get over how huge it is!

Oh yeah...

Yeah, the ride has other stuff like a lift hill.

Looks like testing has begun!

First turn of the ride.

Roaring into the tunnel...

...and into the pretzel loop.

The roar this ride makes gives me chill bumps.

More soon.

Meh, I'm not a fan of it. After you said it would be something never before seen in RCT3 I was expecting something never before seen in RCT3, not just a flyer. And Ice Age? For a huge thrill coaster like this? It just doesn't fit.

Built a flying coaster up to the top, used extended coaster track for the rest. Pretty simple.

Update

Year 7

Got a chance to get some shots of more testing:

Looking down on the pretzel loop.

You get a great view of the ride from the Taiga Experience entrance plaza.

The pretzel loop towers 175 feet above the river below.

The train soars over the queue as it makes the trek back towards the station.

The ride can be seen anywhere from the lower level.

What so many have been waiting for - ride overview.

More soon.

Does it crash meaning we can ride it?

You won't be able to ride it. I have done things like it before, and it doesn't work. If the train trys to go into any section of track not part of the track the coaster train starts on, no matter what track type, it will fall off the tracks.
