Mr. Weenie was found in Peru, Indiana on the drive between Indiana Beach and Cedar Point following some Mapquest directions. We stopped in Peru to get gas and found Mr. Weenie - he's classic. Didn't try the hot dogs though, maybe next trip...

There's a huge sombrero in North Carolina, right before you cross into South Carolina. There's also a crappy wild mouse there. I think it's called Pedro or something? Who names a coaster Pedro?? VOTE FOR PEDRO! WOO! I believe the whole complex is called "South of the Border".

I was going to mention South of the Border as well. They always used to have tons of billboards up on I-95 about the place and a few years ago, we stopped there to use the restroom and just to see what it was. I know it was to be expected but if anyplace screams "tourist trap", that place is it. To make things worse, "Pedro's Wild Mouse Coaster" has been SBNO for a while according to RCDB (I have never seen it run but most times I drive past South of the Border it's in December or January so it probably wouldn't be running anyway). What's also strange is that some of the billboards on the road advertising the place actually advertise the coaster and encourage people to stop and ride the coaster. I guess that just shows how often they update their billboards.

Right outside of Boise City, OK I caught sight of this field of cars of diferrent vintages surrounding a trailer. I wish I could've gotten a picture of that.

I love random strange things you spot when you're out travelling. I'll have to post some pics later, but here's a few things I've seen that I sadly don't have pictures of:

 

Somewhere in PA there's a sign advertising a hot dog place, and on the sign is a Hot Dog cooking another Hot Dog over a fire. Isn't that like cannibalism?!?

 

On the front of an adult store in Hollywood: We Sell Used Porn (um, is this something you really want to advertise?!?)

 

And I wish I had a picture of that "Jesus is coming back...AS LIGHTNING" sign in PA. I still don't understand that one...

In the highlands of scotland there are alot of 1 lane roads and they have things called Passing Place's on them. Now there was one sign where it said Pissing place on it.

Last year on my trip to Clear Lake, I saw an exit sign that said "Butts Canyon Road." We started to chuckle at it as we passed by. Must have been the heat that got to us for us to find it funny.

everytime i drive to my grandparents we see a black classic buggy, on top of a 60-foot pole, with 8 spider legs coming out of it. Its really cool when you see it, and really wierd when you here about it.

Yeah, the whole place is called "South of the Border." Our group stopped by for an hour and half during our drive down to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break.
