Piranha

I'm building a new suspeended rollercoaster called Piranha. It uses the bottom rail of a curtain on the lifthill so the chain doesn't sag. I've decided to use two, 3-car trains, instead of 4-car trains. Any comments?

Wow! A really creative idea - I've never seen an inverted K'NEX coaster before. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

WOW! That is so awsome! IMO I think it needs a much larger drop. But thats just me. Great job! Keep up the good work!

It probably would be better with a larger drop, but this is my first coaster like this, so I don't want to build something too big without having experience.

Looks neat. Oh and there is one thing I have never gotten, what is the point of the central rail? It seems like a waste of rail tubing. (for lack of a better term.)

^^The center rail strengthens the track and helps the train travel faster. I added a drop an a turn.

How do you make an inverted lift without the chain dog on the train just laying against the car. How do you get it to catch it?

 

 

It looks really good so far and has a cool layout!

^^I got a curtain rod from home depot, cut the bottom rail out, and glued it to the lifthill track. Update time. The layout is finished! Now I just have to theme it.
