piers Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I'm heading over to Chessington next thursday for the day as have not got those credits despite living three hours from it my whole life. The school kids are on holiday so expecting big lines. Has anyone used their version of fast pass and if so is it worth it? Saying that is is only six quid so probably not too bad! Any help/idea's for a good day here are very welcome.
IceDragon Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 these are a possibility. I say buy them and use them, especially if you want to do everything at least once... and its only anther 6 quid, its not a major loss if you dont use it, but from past experiences, i say yes.
Nrthwnd Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Good news / bad news will be... Either it's a good deal for you, and you will get major use out of it. Or, it's a total waste of your money and you won't ever get it again. (Always worth a try, hmm?)
SharkTums Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I'm guessing it's a lot like Thorpes, and in that case, yeah, get it! I've seen that park crammed with school children and it is NO FUN!
piers Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 ^This is what I thought also. Well we will see on thursday. I'm sure it will be a good day anyway. Now if only there was some way to silence those school brats! Idea's?

Janster Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Yeah, I also hate those school trips in theme parks. Shouldn't school do something educational? Like going to a museum or visiting old buildings and stuff? This park is located in a very dense populated area. I encountered terrible crowd's on a weekday in june at Thorpe Park (not too far from Chesington). Due to a fastpass I managed to do all the major rides at thorpe twice in one day.

I encountered terrible crowd's on a weekday in june at Thorpe Park (not too far from Chesington). Due to a fastpass I managed to do all the major rides at thorpe twice in one day. I've never used one before... I might have to do that! Last time we went, we done the majors except Detonator, Stealth, Log Flume, Tidal Wave and N:I because they all broke down... all bar 2 while we were queuing up for them as well!
Janster Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 I don't know what to think about those fast passes btw. I hate the "You are able to pay more? You can go in all the rides. <--> You can't afford fast passes? F@!C U! You will not be able to do all of our ride!" policy of those large parks. So I'm principally against fast passes and deep down inside I feel that I shouldn't buy them. But by providing fast passes, on a busy day, they make it almost essential to buy them, because capacity of the normal q-line decreases dramatically.
