Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 19, 2007 Author Posted February 19, 2007 Is there a restirction on track length? Height? launch speed? might I also add you have some hard lat, and Neg G restrictions to stay in. If I were you i'd make it max -gs 1.8 and max lat g's 0.9 One last thing for all those ocmpalining about the 1.8 acc limit, that is a fast launch I like small boys in tights. -1.8 Gs? that is certainly deadly, or close enough. and 0.9 lats is too much for the hyper trains, a GP would be hanging out of the side thinking "It's just part of the ride." Now i understand that we are not GP but still. 0.9-1.2 is suitible for a wooden coaster but not an intamin hyper.

Even Speed, which pulls massive amounts of air, only pulls -1.3. It's not deadly, but... riders should expect bruised thighs...
Golfie Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 No way am I entering in this competition if the AHG is required... I hate the tool because it screws up all of my tracks. Sorry, but I'm staying away from this one.

Sorry, but I'm staying away from this one. An entirely wronk Assumption. The AHG will only "quality multiply". Would you now please come to the chalkboard and write a 100 times: "I will not feed the AHG inappropriate tracks" Done? You may then leave class. Don't blame the knife for cutting your fingers.
jamesissoocool Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 i'm in one question how do you ahg vertical tiwsts
Real Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Easy - make your vertical twist at 89 degree or even at 89.5. You cant tell and the program has no problems. Color codes help alot too.
Blazen_AZN Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I guess you can count me in aswell. I need some motivation to actually finish a coaster anyway.
jamesissoocool Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 if you can rase the the limt for the lat gs then i'll hav to drop out
nesdude Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Two questions and I'll guess I'll be in: 1. Does it have to be closed circut? 2. Train length? -nesdude
IwantRevenge Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I have sad news... I must pull out of the compe because I have joined a Wee Wee Slap Competition. If you don't mind Vekoma...can I use the Rocket Template for a diffrent coaster?
matteocrepaldi Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Sign me in. I've no idea about what the AHG is and how it works but I want to try.

Train length? -nesdude 1. yes 2. 5 cars, Rocket coaster launches can't handle more tha 5 in real life. ^^Yeah, just give me some credit when you post it.
Calaway Park Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Sorry, have to drop out. I've started a new project, and it's really taking a lot of my time.
jimbobcoaster Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I'm in. I hope I can finish it in time, but I'll give it a shot!
jamesissoocool Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 sorry but i've got a big project so i'm got to drop out
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 ^okay but PLEASE try to use better grammar.
woah_killa Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Hey, I'll do it! But, if I drop out suddenly or don't finish, don't be surprised...I'm really busy right now. Also, that lateral g part is a little...strict don't you think?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 I was actually thinking about building a coaster for this contest, but the lat rule is kinda rediculous. SROS @ SFNE pulls 1.3 lats with these same trains, and it isn't even that noticable. Good luck to those who are competiting... Okay, i'll take that into account, i'll rais the limit to 1.2. Hows that for you?
matteocrepaldi Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I got myself insane to keep the laterals at 0.5 and now you say that 1.2 is fine! Thanks for adding me!!!
jimbobcoaster Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Ok, so I am not sure if I can do this because I can't seem to download the template. It's kind of a long story and right now, I am only able to download tracks in the track pack. So yea...
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 Here's the NLpack see if this works. Rocket Template.nlpack
