Jive Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Legoland held an open house earlier this week to discuss their proposed park for Lee's Summit, MO. This gave the community a chance to ask questions and learn a bit more about the parks intentions. They hope to have final approval in 6 months and then begin construction this summer. The proposed opening date is 2009. I believe that Schlitterbahn has moved it's opening date up to 2008. And I'm not sure what is pulling all these parks to the Kansas City area but I like it and I hope that Legoland wins approval. Here's a couple of photos that we too from the event. It's basically maps and what not. Photos
CP_RULES Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Its great to see that some companies are looking into coming to Missouri, we really dont have much selection here in the midwest, and its always a bonus for me!
Ryan King Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Legoland Compton, Legoland Fresno, Legoland Detroit. All still good choices in my book
