BiCoastal Kid Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 OMGz YES http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=65693 RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Will Reunite For COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL - Jan. 21, 2007 Geoff Boucher of the Los Angeles Times reports that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, the seminal L.A. band that made heavy music into political manifesto, will reunite after a seven-year lull for one show as the headliners at the 2007 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. L.A. Times' sources say RAGE, which played the main stage at the first Coachella in 1999, will be joined by other familiar faces for the eighth edition of the festival, which covers three days this year and begins April 27: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, which headlined in 2003, are back, as is BJÖRK, who topped the bill in 2002.
downunder Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 That's awesome, I love Rage, and the Chillis to boot. I hope they do a DVD of the concert.
Jew Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The other hot rumor was that Smashing Pumpkins were reuniting for Coachella too. That might actually get me out to the hell hole known as Indio!
kk_slider11290 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I just bought my pre-sale tix yesterday. So excited.

Wes Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Rage is good, but none of the others sound that great. I'll wait for the full list and make my decision. It takes a lot of good bands (or Radiohead) to make Coachella worth going back too.
BiCoastal Kid Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 ^Have you heard any fo the new Arcade Fire or Air? That with The Decemberists would be pretty convincing to me.
