Thats a crazy cable thing. Why does it have 2 sides?

Probably busier in the summer, so they have two separate cable systems with two lines running... there and back.

 

That'sa heck of a lot of cable "balls" too - a few of the pix make them almost look like they're part of a (dare I mention it) Christmas card!

When Robb went over the summer they did have both sides running. It was quite impressive!

It seems like all the signs and whatnot are also posted in English, so is it necessary to know ANYTHING in the Chinese language when going to China?

^ Mainland China, YES! Hong Kong...not so much. Remember that Hong Kong was a British owned country until about 10 or so years ago, so there is still a LOT of English there.

 

You even see stuff like "Mind The Gap!"

On the Wild West coaster, that structure the helix went around, do you know if that was supposed to be completed (i.e. Dragon Mountain) or is it supposed to be that way.

 

Either way, it looks like an awesome, and unique, ride.

^ I *think* it was never completed like Dragon Mountain. So who knows...maybe in 20 years they will finally finish it!

Well I've been to Ocean Park for uncountable number of times. Glad to hear you found credits in it!

When the Mine Train was under construction, we saw that "bird's cage" thing on the hill and the same thing came up into our minds: the interior support of a mountain, or a volcano perhaps! We looked forward with anticipation, but after some years, we got the whole picture with the "bird's cage" still there... Quite obvious now that it's part of the ride and nothing further will be done to it.
