For me it came down to either Zeppelin or The Beatles.... but Zeppelin won just because I think Zeppelin has a little bit more range than The Beatles.

But seriously ... If you are just saying most influencial you have to go with the Beatles. If you are looking at the best "Musicians" you have to go with Floyd. If you are going with most overplayed and thus ruining them you'd have to go with Zeppelin. The Who are also very good, influencial, etc, etc, etc.

 

So in the end ... eh, who really cares?

 

PS, there is a reason I neglected to mention the Stones ... they suck.

Come on, Rush can't compete with the greatness that is Staind, Hootie, Nickleback, etc.

 

Seriously, I would say Rush, but I know they aren't everybody's cup o' tea ... and seriously, it's a pretty useless poll to begin with. I mean, to be honest, my top 5 bands of all time wouldn't incude any of those listed in the poll. And I'm sure some people actually would have Staind in their top 5. They'd be wrong and have no musical taste, but they can still have it.
