CoasterFanatic Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I would buy 200 Bacon Cheeseburgers ... but that's just me.
Ryan King Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I would buy 200 Bacon Cheeseburgers ... but that's just me. Gotta say...Im siding with Ted on dis sheet
Primogen18 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Thats 200 junior cheeseburger deluxes/small fries/junior bacon cheeseburgers..... or 100 junior bacon cheeseburgers 50 small fries and 50 side potatoes.... or maybe mix up some frosties in there... Mmm wendys, gotta love their commercials... now im hungry...... anyway.... Id go with K'nex, you can buy tons more for the same price as one Scorpion set. I mean they look incredible, but theyre alot more money for less unless you plan on buying more in the future which if you have the cash. I guess it depends on what youre going for. More fun/room to play around with, or realistic/model look I guess to have sit around.
TheBannedKid Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I would buy the same, but it would be In'N'Out Double Double Meals... No really, I would buy the Scorpion. You don't get too much out of it right now, but when you add more and more parts its worth it. I worked with Knex for 7-8 years and it takes too much work just to make the supports. I often stopped workingo n models due to this. With the Scorpion it is more realistic and you get to focus more on the layout and theming. Plus, while the price is steep to start with CoasterDynamix, its very cheap afterwards. You can buy PVC pipe at Home Depot to replace the supports and track, ties, and rails are very cheap. Not as cheap as Knex, but cheap enough to not discourage you from expansion.
TPDave Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'm not that impressed by coaster dynamix really. Its designed to look really realistic and it does (providing you spend enough time on it). But unless you anchor it really well the track shakes a bit, and from what i've heard you can't easily re-use the pieces so it's not a re-usable as they would like you to think. Also, once the train goes round, you lose the whole realistic thing because it goes round soo fast. I'd say go with k'nex, you can get tonnes more and do more with it. It's not realistic but thats not the end of the world.
rbpia Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I would buy 200 Bacon Cheeseburgers ... but that's just me. I'm thinkin Arby's. rbpia "200 bacon cheeseburgers = ACERS dream"
pagemaster_b Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 K'nex. There's nothing like hearing your roommate yelling at you that your recent roller coaster creation is hogging most of the Living Room space. Or was he yelling because it was blocking the TV?
TheBannedKid Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 My room mate says the same thing...but its CoasterDynamix in his way.
robbalvey Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 For that kind of money couldn't you at least get a half-way decent hooker for like 20ish minutes? --Robb "Would you need any more?" Alvey
Primogen18 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 You definitely need no more, hell you don't even really need that lol. 20 minutes?! Trim that to about 5 minutes and 37 seconds and you can get Knex AND the halfway decent hooker... spread your money around a little...
ECZenith Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 In Amsterdam, that would get you about 4 decent "slores" plus enough money left over to buy something to make you forget it ever happened.
