Wes Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Please read the forum rules and try to work on your spelling and grammar in your posts.
ParkTrips Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Please try to formulate better sentences! Â Also, the trade show doesn't start until Wednesday. I'm going on behalf of TPR, so I'll be sure to share my photos.
speedracer Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Parksmania has an update:  http://www.parksmania.it/english-news_news_iaapa-attractions-expo-2006--first-pictures_2393.html  So it looks as if both Fabbri and Chance/Morgan now have their own version of a 4D? And who's getting the Coca Cola GCI? And the B&M Speedcoaster?
CoasterFanatic Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 No idea on the Coca-Cola thing, but I would be willing to wager a good chuck of change that the B&M display is straight off of Goliath. Â They typically use a local example as to not have to ship a train too far.
DerekRx Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I would just assume the Coca Cola Coaster is just a mock-up because Coca-cola is from Atlanta, where the tradeshow is this year. Unless Renegade or the Toverland coaster are sponsored by Coke (which would be awesome at Valleyfair!) Â ^And I'd agree with you on the Goliath car.
dr.gumbo Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Coca-Cola themed ride, thats awesome, if its going anywhere its porbably Toverland.   The show this year looks fun and intresting wish I could go but its way too far to travel for it  (As a note, how come the Euro-fighter 320 is missing its heartline roll)
speedracer Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 ^^ Oh ok about the Goliath car, it's pristine condition is what threw me off. And was just used to seeing GCI's trains at IAPPA with the park/ride logo on the front rather than the logo of a sponsor.
ParkTrips Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I am doing my photos now, but real quick, the Coke car is on display in Coke's corporate headquarters in the theme parks division... if I remember correctly (apologies to Chris if I butchered that)
YoshiFan Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 That VIP ferris wheel car with the TV is awesome.
exmouse Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 That 4D coaster on the Chance Morgan stand is actually the UniCoaster. It is designed by Bill Kitchen, the guy behind the Sky Coaster, and he recently joined partnership with Chance Morgan to market the ride. Riders will have some control of the spinning of the car using a hand brake system. Here is the website for it http://www.unicoaster.com/
