Minor incident on DL California Screaming 2nd Oct

Hi all, just got back from my Cali trip, wow... anyway.

 

On Monday, California Screaming was closed at 1st, later we went over to check if it was open. We saw a lady being helped off the ride by DL staff. The ride was stopped and she was walked off mid ride & helped back to her wheel chair. She didn't seem badly injured but I was wondering what happened.

 

Anyone heard anything or is this a minor regular occurance ?

don't know what happened but of course the coaster opened the day after I was at DCA

She probablly only needed help back into her wheel chair. Nothing happened or else the press would be all over.

Hopefully they don't catch wind of this or we'll be seeing "WOMAN PARALYSED IN FREAK DISNEYLAND ACCIDENT" and "HAPPY DAYS ARE GONE FOR DISNEYLAND-GOER" in the newspapers.

She could of just had a panic attack from lack of airtime and trimming.

Since when was Cali Screamin' trimmed? When I went on it it gave the most incredible airtime.

^A dark day indeed. Disney's best thrill coaster reduced to a lack of air time. I still don't understand why they did that...I mean, it would not've stopped the trains from bumping.

They would have bump'd at a slower speed.

^Yeah, but it still would've caused about the same reaction from the park and the media.

Well they could ahve just slowed it down after the humps and before the helix.

Ah. We went about a year and a half ago. Those last hills gave so much airtime, it was great. I remember my butt being off the seat over each one.
