My friend told me, to get to the peak of Mt. Gushmore you have a choice of taking a ski lift or a gondola. And he said they both run on the same track. Is that true?

ADMIN EDIT: "Beech" is spelled "Beach"....unless you're talking about Beech Bend Park...which you're not.

Yeah the lift has both kinds of seats.. But I think it only have 1 or 2 gondolas and I think they were ment for handycap people.

But its just faster to walk up the hill then it is to wait in line for the ski lift.

The gondolas are not even used unless there is a handicapped passenger. There is only one of them on the ski lift at Blizzard Beach.

If you use the single rider line, the line for the ski lift will take no time at all. However, it still is faster to walk, but the ski lift is a nice, relaxing ride.

If you get a chance to ride the skilift, even though it is faster to walk, do so! It's cool to watch the riders zoom by on the slides below you. I didn't even see the gondola you guys are talking about either time I went. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled in a couple weeks when I go back.

When I was there, I didn't even bother taking the ski lift because I was to busy conquering the park! It looked kinda relaxing and fun but, I would have rather had gone on Summit Plummit a second time then taking the ski lift.

Right in the middle behind one of the supports. I believe there is only one gondola on the circuit.

Sorry, this was the best picture I could find.
