Splash_Mountain Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 I'm going to probably buy the Taiko game in a few weeks cause I've heard so much about it here. I was wondering though, is it easy to learn? I play DDR if that helps.
YoshiFan Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 It takes about 15 minutes to learn how to play correctly I would say. It's very easy overall (a lot easier to learn than DDR). You should be able to get a good deal on it as well since it sold horribly in North America.
Erik Johnson Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 ^^ Yeah you can get the U.S. Version for $19.99 at Toys R Us. Yes, it includes the drum as well.
Splash_Mountain Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks guys I got it and the idiots at SONY made me buy a new PS2 for it to work. Robb, why did companies use blue-bottomed disks? They had loads of Disc Read Errors. On a more Taiko note: OMFG!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS GAME! There's even "Katamari On The Rocks". I'm still trying to work on the "Tap" notes.
Stitch Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Arg online Taiko Drum Master with Drumcon sells for $49.99
benzo41190 Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 i was a big DDR player and I found this a hell of alot easier to play. Plus, you dont get all hot and sticky
Splash_Mountain Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 Kay, here's another question, how to you PROPERLY use the controller to prevent damage, I'm already tearing it.
