The line got to 55 minutes last Saturday (No I did not wait at that time). The express pass line was all the way out the door to where the fence/waiting area is located. By the way, it looks like they have started working a little one that rumored new express line queue. While the entrnace is still the same so far, they had the little wrap around before you enter the "Choose Thy Fate" room closed off via wood panels.

Longest I've ever waited was 45 mins. Universal must be doing something right if they can manage the lines so they don't get too crazy.

I've waited 75 minutes during a spring break trip years ago. Other than that one bad trip in which Hulk was pulling 2 hrs, I've never seen more than 30 minutes or so. I've learned from my mistake

Okay, first, thanks for the replies. I got a quick follow-up question now. For those who've said the line was around 90 minutes at one point in time, where did it extend to? Was it in or out of the castle? I'm just trying to visualize it.

I agree with someone earlier who said it can feel a bit cramped in there. And although I'm not necessarily claustrophobic, I imagine it might play on my nerves a bit after an extended period of time. I mean I absolutely love to walk through it, and God knows I'd never wait longer than 30 to 45 minutes tops, but I'm just wondering.

When I was there out in May 2 years back, it was not outside the castle, but it was not inside it either. You know that little bit of queue they have between the gate and the castle entrance, thats where it was at. But they did not use all of the switchbacks though, I'm sure of that. Yeah it does get cramped in there, it can be one of the most miserable places to stand in a line because it gets hot in there, an it starts to smell after a while. The weirdest time I was there was Spring Braek of '03. They had these Fright Fest looking people walking through the line, and they scared the crap out of me. (I was 10 at the time). But the weirdest thing was that they were just randomly walking through the line going in the opposite way. This was in March, so HHN would not start until 7 months later.

I don't know how long the wait was, but the line was in the small switch back right before you choose your side.

The other 3 times I went the line was just a couple trains.
