Being that many rides failed to work properly when Disneyland first opened, I would choose Coney Island if I was given the choice to travel back.

I'd like to ride Euclid Beach Parks Thriller, Flying Turns and Racer one more time. Those were my first coasters.

 

I'd also like the ride Puritas Springs Cyclone. 1928-1958 Ravine coaster.

 

Crystal Beach Cyclone also comes to mind.

Magic Mountain in late 1978. Colossus before its first reprofiling, Revolution with lapbars only, Mountain Express, the world's scariest Sky Ride, and the whole host of non-coaster rides the park had back when it had some non-coaster rides.

While that's true that is was somewhat of a disastrous opening day for Walt, it's still probably the single most important day in amusement park history; and obviously theme park history.

 

Aside from my Disney time travel desires, I'll add one more to the list:

Luna Park @ Coney Island around the turn of the century.

I'd have to say honest to god, go back to Crystal Beach and ride the SOB ride named Cyclone.

 

Then after my ribs healed, I'd go back to Boblo Island in Ontario,Canada and visit them in their closing season. Just to pay my final respects.

I would like to go back and ride Viper at SFOG. That used to be my favorite ride when I was little.

 

Also, this has been mentioned, but I would like to go back to Kings Island durring the hey day to ride the Beast, Racer, and the Bat.
