The 3rd Dimension Amusement Company, the same people who brought you Forgotten Wonders and Crown Paradise, are at it again with their latest announcement of Oasis Park. The park is said to be located in the desert of Arizona, around a small lake. 3DAC has signed a contract with Vekoma for this park, and three top of the line Vekomas have been assembled on site already. Tomb-erang, a Vekoma boomerang, Sandstorm, not your average SLC, and Mdjai (meaning soldier in ancient Egyptian), a fast paced Vekoma looper. The park is themed to Egyptian, and like other 3DAC parks, will be heavily themed.

3DAC's new logo! (Its still bad though)

The park logo, Dont mind my poor photo editing skills....

Tomb-erang as seen from the lake.

Tomb-erang is pretty well themed.

Sandstorm looks stunning with martenmars (did I spell that right?) rocks!

The station building is themed egyptian.

Here you can see the paddle boats, the beautiful waterfall with awesome rocks, and Tomb-erang.

The ostrich habitiat with Mdjai looming (themeless at this point) in the background.

The Gazelle habitat and Sandstorm.

Finally, I leave you with a picture of Tomb-erang, just becaus I think it looks cool!

This post is just to let everyone know, that after being on hold for a little bit, Oasis Park will be resuming updates soon. A lot has happened since this park was introduced. New rides, coasters, theming, landscaping, shops, and stalls have been added. In contrary, one thing was removed. Mdjai was removed due to high maitenence costs, its parts will be scrapped for the parks other Vekomas. I wont get into detail yet, Ill save that for the next update, but heres a little sneak peak at whats been happening:

Oh yea! The park has opened too!

^Yep, Oasis Park has a contract with Vekoma and currently has four brand new custom models. One more is in the works, but keep it on the down low.

Im having trouble trying to figure out how best to describe all the cool and new things that have happened around Oasis Park, so I have decided to let the pitures do the talkin'.

Sahara Speed was the last coaster to be built in the park before it opened. Sahara Speed is a Vekoma Motorbike with two inversions and a launch of over 50mph.

Sahara Speed is located in an ancient egyptian stadium.

I really dont liek how the stadium looks, but its good enough.

The splash boats on the lake is the parks only water ride. It is named Quest for Antonia.

The logo (please note that I did NOT make this logo and I do not know who did, I simply found it on Google)

Battle for the Sphinx is also a new coaster (or two?). Battle for the Sphinx are two dueling Vekoma flying coasters.

One side is Right Eye....

...and the other is The Great Sphinx.

They never really intertwine...

...but they do get pretty close.

REALLY close.

Each side is identical, here is the layout.

The area around Tomberang really has filled in.

The food Court.

Many new animal exhibits have been added. This one is chimpanzees. (sp?)

Quest for Antonia.

Sandstorm has undergone some improvements. One of which is some new theming over the queue.

The (fairly generic) logo.

Another improvement is the fact that the lift has been custom supported. The exhibit in the foreground is the new lion exhibit.

Sahara Speed as seen from the new Kings Cry.

The logo.

Looks like a new ride for next season.

Overview.

Currently the parks first season is over and preperations for next season are being made.

The duelling coaster looks pretty cool with the riders facing eachother, but an outside loop on a flying coaster would be very uncomfortable in real life and is unrealistic. Imagine 4G towards your restraint! However, this is RCT, not real life so I think you should keep it that way because it looks cool!

It really wouldnt be any more uncomfortable than say a helix such as the one below becuse the trains go fairly slow through the loop.

The G-forces would be far higher at the bottom of the loop than through any of the turns found on real flying coasters. They are either taken rather slow or they are stretched out quite a bit.
