ECZenith
Hey all, I'm working on a major RCT 3 project! (look for all progress in this thread) Arcadia Chasm Theme Park will be a realistic park set in a fictional area, but inspired by actual local chasms. This heavily wooded area will feature a monster B&M floorless coaster, at least three other major coasters, and many gentle rides to take in the scenery. On the schedule tonight is finishing up the waterfalls and adding the station and details to my B&M. This is where I need your help... I'm looking for a good name for a partially terrain B&M floorless that focuses on airtime but features a unique set of inversions and some classics... The ride is silver track with teal supports. It should be themed to the woodlands, chasms, "the wind", something naturey but any name ideas are welcome. I'm also looking for overall ideas that you may like to see in an RCT theme park, so fire away. Look for the first screens tonight, and please help with this B&M! doitdumont1128
Sounds like a cool park. I have an idea, but be warned it's kinda lam. Storm
ECZenith
Here's the first batch of screenshots... I don't think the name Storm is lame, something along that theme might suit the ride well. A look down the chasm itself. A flat spin is the ride's final inversion. After this is a set of bunny hops delivering massive negative g's. Hope you like the park so far. Feedback is appreciated! After the mid-course brake run, the train blasts through an inclined loop. The Zero-G roll looms high over the entryway. The giant wingover, the ride's signature inversions. Upon exiting this element, riders are looking right down the chasm to the Arcadia River below. The other side of the camelback/zero-g roll area. The first drop leads to a massive airtime hill right over the entryway. A train on the lift hill with the rides first peeps. I love the new chain return/motor pack! The station area, complete with queue house, transfer track, photo booth, gift shop, etc. Once the ride is named a custom marquee will be added. An overview of the un-named B&M floorless coaster. goleafsgo
wow, thats one of the best rtc3 rides ive seen, can you post a POV video?
ECZenith
Thank you for the kind words. I'll try to post a video but I hear they take a long time to make. Once this park is done, it will be quite stunning. Expect a lot of custom stuff, highly detailed coasters and dark rides and a resort including an indoor waterpark. CP_RULES
I really love that coaster, the theming around the coaster is very realistic. I am really loving this park so far. Names I can think of include: Windstorm (further improvising storm) Chasm Chaser (even though I have no clue what a "chasm" is) Silver Streak (I know, so original) Disturbance (Hmmmmm) Electroplate (found while searching under "Chrome" at thesaurus.com) Thats about all Ive got, my favorite is Electroplate! knottslover77
I love it. It's like a hyper/floorless.
kennywood!007
Wow! That B&M is extremely realistic looking! I love your park, keep it up!
ECZenith
Going with the windstorm theme, I chose the name Tempest for the B&M floorless coaster. One of four big coasters this park will have. Below are some screenshots of recent progress. Tempest's final airtime run. The new marquee. Tempest Plaza The train WAY down the chasm while The Tempest roars above. The Arcadia River Railroad offers a great view of the falls. I have just added elevators to take peeps down to the new mini railroad. Bridge to the theme park. clarkerm
Has anyone got any idea why I can only have selecet a maximum of 5 rows per floorless car?
Steffen_Dk
How do you make an inclined loop and the wingover with a floorless??
doitdumont1128
Very nicely done. I like how Tempest has a plaza rather than here's the quene right in your face. The park has a traquil feel, like a state of Nirvana. Hey, that could be a cool ride name, I guess.
goleafsgo
with rct3, can you make realistic inversions likes the wingover/inclinined loop easily, or do you need to hack the ride or whatever?
coasterguy618
That is one of the best B&M floorless coasters I have ever seen. It is so original. Great Job!

CP_RULES
How do you make an inclined loop and the wingover with a floorless?? Its not the "floorless coaster" itself, rather the "extended coaster" with floorless trains. with rct3, can you make realistic inversions likes the wingover/inclinined loop easily, or do you need to hack the ride or whatever? RCT3 WILD! brings us the wonderful ability to expand our inversion capabilities, no hacking required!
Steffen_Dk
Ok. Thanks
kennywood!007
^ Its because you probably just have Rct3. Wild lets you have more...I think Soaked might as well. Anyways great train! The views are awesome! Can't wait for those other coasters!
goleafsgo
if i were to buy rct3, should i just get rtc3 and wild if im not really interested in building water parks?
kennywood!007
There is more than just waterparks that come with Soaked. I personally think if yours gonna get expansions, just get both, save up foir both! They are both really worth the money and provide great new sceneery, rides, and options! ECZenith
6-30-06 and here's what's been done... * Railbeds added to the train ride. * Tempest receives surrounding pine forest and loudspeakers/other details. * Elevators finished to mini railroad station. * Wooded areas added to train ride. * Plaza to elevator started. A look up the lift hill, just added the last of the evac stairs and lift details that needed adjusting. The area near Tempest's wingover will soon have a water ride below and around it to interact with. A train approaching the station. Elevators to take peeps down the chasm to the train station, and eventually the waterfall tour boats. Tempest catching air at night-time. The entrance at night. ECZenith
I was thinking the same thing, I killed all the supports but I don't know what kind of structure I can put up under the bridge now. Any ideas?
ECZenith
Since there's no arches available in any of the theme packs and this bridge is so high off the ground, I went with a modern truss bridge to cross the chasm. The new bridge.
IwantRevenge
Just a idea, why not make a giant water ride go off the edge of the chasim into the River, or a Dive machine.
