Indiana Beach Theme Park Review is at Indiana Beach! Let's start out our visit with some ERT on Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain! Good luck guys! This is a bone rattling experience! Lost Coaster starts with a vertical elevator lift system. Lost Coaster is what happens when you take an old dark ride and convert it into a wood coaster. It's got a very bizarre layout with sharp turns and drops. Great fun...although it will totally wreck you! You guys ready to ride? Good luck guys! Next up...a great coaster with a cheesy sign! TPR is ready for Cornball Express! Cornball Express was running very well today! NERD!!! Cornball is a smaller woodie, but filled with airtime! TPR members are all cornballs. "Hey boys! Check me out sucking down a corn dog. If you'd like me to suck down your corn dog...EMAIL DAN now!!!" mrt0ad13@aol.com Steel Hawg was a nice surprise for this trip! Steel Hawg does twist you upside down for quite a bit! Be prepared for all the change to fall out of your pockets! Outward banked turns! Sexy!!! The layout is completely insane but don't worry, it's very smooth! TWISTY!!! Indiana Beach's boardwalk is filled with classic flat rides running some great programs! The Falling Star is KidTums approved! This just became my favorite park in the world!!! Random group photo!!! Good thing we had ERT! Falling Star takeover. "As seen on TV!" Ooh! Electronic ghouls! Bummer. I like nuts. The most awesome attraction at Indiana Beach...Fascination! Hey TPR! Show me your balls! TPDave likes balls on his face. KidTums has already won about 20 tickets! Hey look! We're in New Zealand! Jake ended up with furry handcuffs and a dolphin laser pointer. Water guns for everyone!!! John is now part elephant ear. Dan! Don't eat it!!! Sugar kills!!! The kiddie rides are KidTums approved! Indiana Beach still has the best chairswings anywhere! Wow! I had no idea they allowed that in Indiana! Thank you Indiana Beach for another great Middle America Tour park day! -

Theme Park Review visits Holiday World on TPR's Middle America Trip! This is a special day for both Holiday World and TPR as Theme Park Review had "bought" 9 of the park directors at an auction hosted by the park with proceeds going to the Tennessee flood victims. It was an amazing day filled with backstage tours and getting a very in depth look at how the park operates. Read on.... Remember, can follow the tour LIVE on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/robbalvey Theme Park Review is at Holiday World! TPR comes through the secret entrance! We started off with a behind the scenes walk to Raven. Walkin through the woods...walkin through the woods! That's where we are heading! Yes! First rides on Raven!!! Hooray! Raven! It was awesome to start our day on TPR's favorite coaster at Holiday World! And when Voyage opened for the day we were first riders on that too! Today was a special day for both TPR and Holiday World. In May, Holiday World auctioned off several of the park directors for a private two hour tour around the park, front of the line access to several rides and the opportunity to have a one-of-a-kind experience at the park. The proceeds went to the Tennessee flood victims and we got enough tours for everyone in the group! In fact we bought nine directors in total!!! Our first director of the day was Lori, director of Splashin' Safari! KidTums was given a private swimming lesson... ...While Robb and Elissa got to ride Wildebeast! Lori also took us on Zingo! "Hey everyone! Check out my man boobs!" KidTums is still doing awesome in the wave pool! Next we went on a backstage tour of the water park! Fun fact! Each life guard is assigned their own floatation device and it is theirs for the entire season. Lori tells us that helps cut down on wear and tear of these items as the life guards treat them as their own. They have to replace these expensive items leas frequently. HW19.bmp Water filtration is very important at Holiday World and they even chlorinate rides like Pilgrims Plunge, the Log Ride, and the Rapids. The puzzle program is one of the employee incentive programs at Holiday World. Coins are given to an employee who does well and when the coin is turned in a piece of the puzzle is added. When the puzzle is complete, the management puts on a special surprise for all the employees! Here was May's puzzle. Then June. And July... HW24.bmp And August is yet to be completed. HW25.bmp Lori showed us her office. Here she is very hard at work! And like the floatation devices, cleaning equipment is assigned to each staff member for the season. HW27.bmp We took a little drive around the park property. Holiday World owns all the land you see here. Plenty of room for expansion! HW28.bmp Yup, this is all Holiday World land as well. HW29.bmp Hey look! There is corn in Indiana!!! Yay! It's Wildebeest! Let's go check out the ride. This little device helps the ride ops "pulse boost" the boats in the case they need to e-Stop and evac the ride. Each of the 8 LIM sections has one of these power boxes next to it. Feel the power!!! Each of the LIM areas has a evac platform and a control panel. This power and computer room is the heart of Wildebeest. A lot of gray boxes help make the ride go. Here is the rides computer system and audio system. We took some time to play in the water park for a few hours. KidTums played in Monsoon Lagoon as she was able to ride all the slides on this structure. One of the groups got to hang out on a backstage tour with Samantha, who rode Pilgrims Plunge for the first time with TPR. Samantha's group was given one of those "puzzle piece" coins and the group was asked to hand it to the best employee they saw at the park that day. Matt's group went into the maintenance area of Voyage... And got to check out the new Timberliner trains. Lori's group went behind the scenes at some of the entertainment venues... Jason's group went behind these scenes at the park's restaurants for a kitchen tour... The "Pizza Vault!" "Hey Byran! Here's a few salads for you!" And with all that talk about food, it's time for TPR to eat! Mr. Ham is having a great day at Holiday World so far! Pat Koch came out and spoke to the group and even led one of our groups backstage tours. And the real celebrity of Holiday World came to hang out with us, Holidog! Paula Werne (Raven Maven) led our group tour... We headed back to the Thanksgiving section of the park for a behind the scenes look at one of their newest attractions... Pilgrim's Plunge! First we checked out the operations panel. If you want to build a Pilgrim's Plunge in your back yard, you'll need all of this. TPR hanging out with the head Pilgrim himself! We took a walk out to the elevator lift structure. Got to stand right underneath while the ride operated! Hello world!!! We all took lots of pictures. The underside of a boat! Elevator lift control panel. Pilgrims Plunge side view. The main support structure. And of course we all wanted to ride! Ready to go up? And here we are coming down! Its a great ride! (It's Intamin!) Here is the main control room for Pilgrim's Plunge. Power room! They keep 30% of an upside down man nearby just in case they get hungry during the day. Pilgrim's Plunge really is an awesome ride!!! We went back over to Wildebeest to get photos from the "crow's nest." Have we mentioned how awesome it is that there is a lift hill on the ride? See ya later! "How's it going everyone?" Internet theme park celebrities unite! Paula gave us a great behind the scenes tour of Wildebeest. Lots of great photo opportunities! Check out the lift hill! Here is the conveyor system that moves the boats up the lift. Pat Koch gave a tour of several of the parks different facilities. The park has a huge laundry facility. The kitchen of Plymouth Rock Cafe. Having fun hanging out with the group! Pat gives us a bit of history on Holiday World. And then we were off on a photo walkback tour of The Voyage! NINETY DEGREES!!! First drop on The Voyage! YAY! Voyage back stage tour! NINETY DEGREES!!! Going from one tunnel to the next. "Hopefully The Voyage doesn't need this piece!" You can almost see the train through the massive structure! More Voyage first drop goodness!!! Oh yeah...KidTums got her Howler credit!!' TPR had an amazing day at Holiday World... Hands up if you had a great day!!! On the bus ride that night we played a new version of Elissa Bingo...this time around it was Elissa Bingo in the literal sense... Elissa playing Bingo! Colin was out first winner and he got a Jeff Johnson action figure! Brad won a Voyage shirt. Ooh! That pink shirt looks very sexy on you!!! Elissa has a lot of brown chocolate balls! Mike won a princess activity book! Edsley also got a nice and sexy Holiday World shirt! We had and awesome day... Even the bus ride was fun! Next stop... Indiana Beach! -

Six Flags St. Louis Just a reminder that you can follow the Middle America Tour LIVE via Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/robbalvey TPR is at Six Flags St. Louis for a behind the scenes tour of Mr. Freeze! Jim Harig tells us about his involvement with the design of Mr. Freeze. Jim took us up to the loading dock and talked about the ride. Operator POV! Next we were taken where you normally cannot go! TPR heads into the secret door! Launch track group photo!!! There are sixty pairs of LIMs down the launch track to propel the train to 63.4MPH in 3 seconds!!! Brake fin nerd shot!!! Touch the LIMs! Touch them! Yup...Train goes here! A little peek at the storage track area. And the other track. Mr. Freeze station from the launch track. Track to nowhere. Hey look! Transformers! Where's Optimus Prime? Jim told us about some of the power issues they had during early development of the ride and how they built this additional power station to address them. Next we got to take a walk right under the rides Top Hat element. "Do you like my new hat?" Hugging a support picture... Check! More backstage photos! Yup...we are right under the top hat! More photos that normal guests can't get! TWISTY!!!! The launch tunnel. TPR loves backstage tours!!! Enough tour! Let's ride!!!! Launch Please!!! See ya! Overbank turn. The tophat is awesome! And backwards through it is even better!!! And now for some ERT on Even Knievel! You guys ready for another GCI woodie? GCI: Ride of Quality! Hooray! Information! TWISTY! "Thank you Jeff and Chris and Clair and Joe and Evan and Dan and the rest of GCI!" Evel Knievel is a clone of Thunderbird...both great rides but this one shuffled a bit more. I loooooves me some Q-Bot! Yup. They have one of these...and it works! Ready for the BIG Spin? Where's our cups of water? You guys know this spins, right? Yup. We rode Bruce Springsteen. He's getting a bit rattley in his old age. One train empty, one train full... This is the BEST IDEA I've seen all year at any Six Flags park! I free cup holder for your souvenir bottles! All TPR readers please do us a favour... Any time a discussion about a parks locker policy comes up, and people complain about the souvenir cups, link them to this picture!!! More parks need to see this!!! OMG! KidTums actually won a Giant Ass Panda!!! This was in the toilet stall door in the bathroom...I'm slightly disturbed!!! Just doing my part to make the world a less confusing place. HOLY MIRROR IMAGE BATMAN!!! Water sprinkler on the midway...BEST IDEA EVAR!!! We finally got Hanno to shower! Ahhh...look at that! If Twisted Twins is ever going to roll again, it's going to need new trains! I see Lola and Stella, but what coaster is that Arrow train from? Do you prefer "Shaft 1" or "Shaft 2?" EMAIL DAN and let us know!!! mrt0ad13@aol.com Signature shot!!! Other parks...GET THESE!!! Oh no... Do we really need the credit that bad?? Sorry guys! Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Artsy shot!!! NOTED!!! Look! They have a Mooseburger Lodge, too! Hey Piers! "Don't ride if you have a heart condition." "This coaster would be soooo much better with stand up trains!" Would have ridden if it wasn't for the one train operation and the long line. Yes! Intamin drop tower awesomeness!!! Hooray! Mutant chickens!!! Now THAT is a giant ass Ferris Wheel. Worth EVERY PENNY!!! Looks like many Six Flags parks got a Studio 6F this year! Hooray! CAPES FOR EVERYONE!!! We made a side trip to Belgium...next stop...Bobbejaanland!!! "At least it's not a million degrees outside!" Someone get these guys some women! TPR beating the heat and having fun at Six Flags St Louis! KidTums is our Supergirl!!! What! The! Eff??? And now you know the difference! Thank you Six Flags for a great day!!! -

TPR visits St. Louis! TPR is about to totally destroy a Pizza Hut in the middle of Missouri! Oh no! There is a private party today! Look! TPR is the party!!! Mmmmm....PIZZA!!! TPR is about to get a Culture Credit! Either that or we are riding the worlds largest skycoaster. We all have our "gay" tickets for the Arch! Who is heavier? Here is our pod up the arch...no, it's not a toilet. Clench and squish!!! You guys ready to go? Remember KidTums...it's not a potty! The inside of the Arch! TPR gets a culture credit!!! Here we are! Checking out beautiful St. Louis! Hooray. St. Louis. It's just like Google Earth! "I think I see my dad." Oh look! Moose porn!!! "Hey world! I'm in the arch. Ooh. Ahh..." Time to head back down an over to the City Museum! Book!!!! Theme Park Review has rented out a St. Louis icon...the City Museum! It's difficult to describe City Museum... It's like a 10 story Chuck E Cheese play structure made by insane welders for adults to torture themselves on! One of many City Museum's many random slides. There are tubes and chutes to crawl through everywhere. Another slide! The BIG slide! There are hidden mazes and hallways everywhere. It's like part Winchester House, part insane play structure. Outside on the roof - 10 stories up! We are totally lost in here!!! I found a way out!!! In the skate park room everything is a slide. There are random exhibits in between all the insanity. City Museum used to be an old shoe factory warehouse that has been converted. Spiral slides. City Museum is KidTums approved! This way to the cave slides. To get to the slides first you have to get through the cave! Where are the slides???? The cave slides, aka Shoe Slides are 10 stories tall and used to serve as the system to transport shoes to the shipping department. Yes, human bodies fly down these slides!!! Yup! That is a long way down!!! You kind of flop around like a rag dog all the way down! The shoe slides are one of the main attractions of City Museum. Do not miss these! Up on the roof area there is the swing of death! Push! Everyone push!!! This is completely insane! And if the swing of death wasn't crazy enough you could climb all the way to the top of the roof! Yup! You can climb up there! The instructions at the top of the shoe slides. Holy f**k! This really might be the most insane thing I've ever done!!! Well! Here goes nothing!!! OMFG!!! The sponge room was just silly. Sponges were flying everywhere!!! Look! It's Spongerobb Nopants!!! SPONGE FIGHT!!! Man down!!! Man down!!! Random organ. I made a wrong turn and now I'm stuck in the caves again! Hey! I found a secret passage! I wonder where the secret passage goes? Crap! Back in the caves again!!! Derek made it out of the secret passage! Help me!!! KidTums will come and save you TPDave! This is the only "park map" available. You need to explore and find all the cool stuff on your own. NOTED!!! The rooftop awaits!!! And yes the rooftop is just as insane as the rest of the place. Yes!! There is even a Ferris wheel on the roof! This place is just crazy!!! The Ferris Wheel is the most "normal" thing in this entire place! Hey everyone! There is a good chance tonight that one of us is going to die!!! This giant slide was amazing!!! Climb beeotch!!! Climb!!! OH! MY! GOD!!! Oh look...it's a school bus that's off the side of the building! See? School bus off the roof of the building! And yes... You can go in the bus! This is FREAKY!!! Yup...looking straight down!!! Time to chill! "Mens room!" GIANT ball pit!!! This place really is made for adults! Like someone was all "Why isn't there a Chuck E Cheese for adults that refuse to grow up?" and this place was made. I'm not even sure what this is!!! Is that an airplane??? The amount of random stuff here is almost indescribable! "I need a break!!!" TPR takes over the hamster wheel! This is going to end badly. Yup. It ended badly! Some HAS to end up injured here! Quick! Someone close the vault!!! Hey! They have a random Big Boy!!! Now let's take a break and check out the random weird "museum exhibits." Um...yeah. Displays of random stuff. BOOB CREDIT!!! Mmmffflllmmmppppp! I don't think many of is will fit through that tunnel. I don't know what this is, but it's really cool! Oh look...more people stuck in these wire things. In the skate park room, TPR took over the giant pencil! (I can't believe I just wrote that sentence.) SL108.bmp You had to be personally chosen by KidTums to sit on the top of the slide. SL109.bmp And then we all went at once! SL110.bmp KidTums chooses her next group of sliders. Slide bitches!!! Jake is dead. You can tell by the trail of nasty sweat. Time to go climb around the airplanes. Yup, these are real planes! They have converted the planes into slides and play structures. You can crawl through and sit in the cockpit! TPR's takeover of City Museum was AMAZING! One of the single best moments of any TPR trip! This place is totally insane. While it might not be a real "theme park", it probably is more interesting and more thrilling than some parks on this trip! We highly recommend checking it out next time you're in St. Louis! -

Erik Johnson replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Silver Dollar City Our Branson hotel put us up on the Marquee...somehow "Theme Park Review" translated into "Roller Coaster Tour Company"...but hey, I'll take it! TPR arrives at Silver Dollar City...one of the best theme parks in the United States! Silver Dollar City is celebrating their 50 year anniversary. Good for them! Here's to another 50 years! Silver Dollar City is a park set in the 1800's...it's sort of like would Knott's Berry Farm would be if Cedar Fair hadn't screwed it up. Fire in the Hole...this is the only photo I have of the ride because it's an indoor coaster/dark ride...and it's one of those "old school" rides that is an absolute MUST SEE when you visit the park. This might be my favorite kiddie coaster name ever! Of course if there is a kiddie coaster...TPR will ride it! Hooray! KidTums gets TWO coaster credits today! Ooooh! Culinary school! I want to go! Wait...they have classes for pot heads??? Even the smoking areas are themed! In most parks they make you keep your knives and guns in the car. At Silver Dollar City...you can BUY them in the park! Now for the park's very compact, but very awesome B&M... WildFire! See 'ya later TPR members! Mmm...B&M Goodness! Wildfire packs a LOT into small space! And all the awesome curvy sections are great, too! Kevin got a little bit more of a thrill on Wildfire...he got stung by a bee! While ON the ride!!! What is it with TPR members getting stung by bees on B&Ms??? "Don't worry Kevin, we only have to remove two-thirds of your arm..." This is Lou killing Dan with a plate full of grease and sugar! Go froggies! Go!!! Silver Dollar City put together a special "TPR Version" of their Trailblazer Pass for us today. Thank you Martha! The Giant Swing was just as awesome as the other S&S swings. A full car of TPR members! SWING TPR!!! SWING!!!! Can you tell this was a "Hanno photo?" "Raise your hands...if you're SURE!" Thunderation is an Arrow mine train with a little "surprise" that makes it one of the best mine trains. NOTED!!! Oh, we'll tell you that half of the train goes backwards...sure...but that's not the "surprise!" Silver Dollar City is famous for their "Skillets" Just look at that! A trough of food!!! Mmmm...dried pig skin! YUMMY!!!! The candy store is amazing! Robb ate the entire plate of strawberries. This picture alone will kill Dan. I hear they make a crap load of funnel cakes every year! If you want fresh potato chips...here ya go! SDC has easily the best looking Splash Battle ride in the world! "Ostrich Jerky???" And if all that food isn't enough for you...go join the "no hands" cake eating contest!!! Powder Keg...yup... We wish to be blasted! We will be going that way! Any coaster that includes an explosion of fire as it's theming is automatically awesome! OMG! NOTED!!! Silver Dollar City put together a backstage photo tour of Powder Keg for the TPR moderators. We present to you the Middle America contingent of the 2010 TPR Moderating Team! It's got amazing airtime, the launch is great...but not too intense for more intimidated riders. "I never want to leave!!!" I would love to see more parks order an S&S launched coaster like Powder Keg. It really is the "perfect" ride. Does anyone know why they needed to design these very odd-looking A frame supports? (Joe - you're not allowed to answer) If a coaster like Thirteen had a coaster section like Powder Keg, it would have made it one of the best rides in the world. Lots of awesome photo angles not normally allowed by the public. Powder Keg is a seriously awesome coaster. It's probably my favorite S&S coaster ever made! Some interesting supports that even go underground to help support the footers. While I would consider Powder Keg a ride "for the entire family", it's more than just a "family coaster." The theming on Powder Keg is really awesome! Yep...We're not going to lie to you, Lou loves getting her bottom vibrated. TPDave would like to use these spoons for a purpose that we could get in trouble for if we posted it to TPR. Random Water Balloon Toss! The "Marvel Cave Tour" is one of the amazing and unique attractions that Silver Dollar City is famous for. It starts with a door made just for KidTums! But Jon's ass looks pretty hot going through it too! I really like small, tight passages! NOTED!!!! The Cave Tour is going to challenge our physical ability! It starts with something like 400 stairs that seem like they go straight down! "How are you guys doing so far?" Bats? Salamanders??? AWESOME!!! OMG! It's Prowler! The light! I can see the light!!! Deep down we go into the cave of stairs. TPDave feels very holy...for a moment. This is just so cool. I mean, some theme parks have "cave trains" into a fake cave... ...Silver Dollar City gives you the REAL DEAL!!! Yup, we started WAY up there! If you're into rocks and stuff...you HAVE to do this! All of a sudden...things just got a little more claustrophobic! TPR loves deep, dark, dank, wet caves! Very pretty! "It's beautiful!!!" "Don't look at it Marion!!!" This waterfall is naturally pink. The Cave Tour is really just a very elaborate themed queue for... ...THE TRAIN RIDE!!! (Where we have to get VERY close!) "Everybody clench and squish!!!" Some of you are going to get to know each other a little bit better after this ride! Our "Cave Tour Group Photo!" Yes, we all survived! NO! HANNO!!! DO NOT LOOK IN THAT HOLE!!!! There's a creepy old man in there. TPR's favorite pastime...FOOD! "Thank you Silver Dollar City!" Silver Dollar City is so awesome! Really, it is one of the best parks in the US. You need to go here!!! "Please keep moving...there is nothing to see here!" -

Random B&M track shot. Front seat riders! This group likes it in the rear. WTF is a "Cloudpoofer???" Ahh! Indoor Wipeout! That's actually pretty cool! And now for the favorite TPR part of the day... Credit whoring!!! On the Wacky Worm you MUST have a kid to ride! KidTums rides with her favorite people. Hooray another Rotor! KidTums has become quite the Rotor enthusiast! Now THAT cost Robb a lot of E Tickets!!! Hey look Bryan! It's a pile of meat for you! And it's Kosher!!! This shirt will look MUCH better on Larry! Oh look! They sell official ACE merchandise here! If you want Dan to eat the sugar EMAIL DAN: "Eat the sugar!!!" mrt0ad13@aol.com I'm not quite sure this is what the park had in mind... It is now time for the woodie that is not Prowler! Warning! You will encounter intense jostling! "What exactly ARE cheese curds?" And now for a backstage tour of the Holy Land...Prowler!!! Robb has touched god. We got up close and personal with Prowler during our photo walk back. NERDS!!! Check out all those sexy GCI curves! A train full of riders ascending into heaven. "I am not worthy! Prowler! Take me now!!! Much like the "Three Wolf and Moon" shirt, the Prowler shirt has magical powers. Wearing this shirt at a park is like having an unlimited fast pass for every ride! Thank to Brandon, Lawrence, Michael and everyone at Worlds of Fun for making our visit AWESOME! TPR is making a dinner stop at a popular "roadside America" restaurant! If you are a fan of the Food Network, you have probably heard of Lambert's Cafe Lambert's is famous for it's "Throwed Rolls" meaning they throw rolls at you while you eat! While we wait for our table we will check out a few neighboring shops. Free cheese samples! Habenero cheese was amazing! Would anyone like a really flat cat? Wasabi explosion!!! Want this! The name and the box says it all! The "Beetle Ben" look is in. HEY TPR!!! ITS TIME TO EAT!!! To call this place "kitchy" would be an understatement! "Within seconds of sitting down we got a plate of bacon and corn bread!" "Hot rolls!!!" "Dude just threw this roll at me 15 feet across the restaurant!!!" OMFG!!! Look at the size of the food!!! For the first time in TPR history we are going to consume more gravy than an ACE event! Lambert's is TPR APPROVED!!! "A giant cup of Coke! Makes up for all that Pepsi we had to drink the last two days!" There is more food on this table than in some third world countries! "Hot Rolls!!!" CATCH!!! Our thinner TPR members will be full size after this meal. Dan was only partially injured by a flying roll. Has anyone gotten food stroke yet? The entire restaurant is filled with awesome! How many rolls does TPDave have? To answer EMAIL DAN!!! mrt0ad13@aol.com HOLY MOTHER OF ALL SALADS!!! YOU'D BETTER F*&^ING EAT ALL OF THAT YOU STINKIN' VEGGIE!!!! -

Worlds Of Fun Part 1 Theme Park Review has arrived at the Holy Land...the home of the almighty PROWLER!!! Ooh! HOT! Bubbles makes Dan SEXY! I'm not sure what that's supposed to be...I know what it looks like though. Hell yeah! TPR at Worlds of Fun! A Boomerang on the Holy Land should be awesome! "The awesomeness of Prowler makes this Boomerang amazing!" It's kind of like World of Color l but better...because it's not World of Color. Joey wishes "I want to be big." We are about to ride a coaster that will change our sexual preference forever! Riding Prowler is like touching God. This is my "sex face!" If you would like to ride Prowler with Dan... EMAIL HIM NOW!!! mrt0ad13@aol.com Prowler undid Elissa pants!!! Travis just had six Prowler orgasms!!! "It's the healing train! We all had cancer and after Prowler, we're CURED!" Prowler has taken the entire trains virginity! WOF18.bmp Michael aka Jesus Christ was the most amazing ride op since our last savior "Boulder Dash Tom." Dave was going to hell for molesting 40 small boys in a Turkish prison, but thanks to Prowler, he's going to spend eternity in Kevin Federline's anal cavity. This may or may not be an improvement...only Prowler can make that judgement. Prowler was so amazing we are ending the trip tonight, because no coaster can ever match it's awesomeness! It would be pointless to continue the tour. Thank you Worlds of Fun!!! Show your support for the TPR Middle America Trip Report! Click REPLY and POST A COMMENT!!! -

Day Two: Adventureland! Theme Park Review has landed at Adventureland! Happy Birthday John. Welcome to the 40-something club. There is something very "Disneyland" about all this. TPR is ready for Adventure....land. Here's a random shot of Elissa's butt. In Iowa, everyone is freakishly tall. The park has a really nice, Disneyland inspired Main Street section. The park lost one side of main street in a fire early in 2010. The other half still stands. But Main Street will be BACK in 2011! And now...for one of the coolest indoor wooden coasters ever! The Underground! Watch out for evils that lurk in The Underground!!! Omg!!! A *THREE HOUR* tribute to Stevie Wonder! We are SO there! Yes!!! Spinning raft ride! Not as cool as "Skloosh!" "Look Dan! We aren't that wet!" "Hell f**king NO!!!" Hey! It's a picture of Bryan!!! Y'all gotta be taller than my ear to ride! Hooray! We can ride! The Outlaw is one of the first CCI woodie to be built...but kind of acts like a GCI. And unlike most of the older CCI woodies, this one is still it pretty good shape! KidTums tries to catch some fried frogs. KidTums is happy with her catch! Now, according to Anthony Bourdane she is supposed to skin them alive and eat the frogs "still beating heart!!". (anyone catch that episode?) Adventureland really is a nice, friendly park. It's like the Lake Winnie or Indiana Beach of Iowa. Now this is an awesome Frisbee! They ran a program that did not disappoint! And now... TPR versus "The Dragon!" The line may look long, but the Dragon chews through it's victims very quickly. You guys don't think you'll slay The Dragon do you? Make no mistake...you will not survive The Dragon!!! It's time to eat!!! Yeeaahhhh!!! Yummy yummy! Food!!! "Check out my stack of tomato." Let's go check out Adventureland's new water park! They got one of those awesome White Water play structures! They even have one of those new ProSlide Tantrums! For being a brand new water park they've got a great start! "Check me out! I've got a Tantrum in my ear." Yep, a toilet bowl slide too! Oooh!!! Nice pretty photos of Outlaw from the water park! This would make me really sad as this park really does have some great classic rides such a the Derby Racer and an insanely run Whip. -

FYI, Manaic is coming out on Blu-Ray later this year. Yes the movie is very creepy and nasty, but it is really well made. -

During my two visits to the park it really clears out about two to three hours before closing. -

Why is IOA's attendance so low?
Erik Johnson replied to ansley's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It should be noted that Jurassic Park did get a lot of love and care a few months ago. When I rode it early June, every effect was running including ones I have never seen before. It certainly was the very first time I have ever seen mist in the opening section of the ride before the double doors. I will be curious to see if they manage to keep everything going by the time for my next visit. Hulk did get a new light/effect package in the lift hill tunnel which includes few new sound effects as well as a bunch of new pulsing green lights, but yeah everything else is not in the very best shape. With that said, it is true that they really did let a lot of things go in the park, especially with ride operations. Things were certainly better in June but I wonder how things will be once the off-season starts. As Elissa noted, IOA is perhaps the most unfriendly park in Orlando for younger kids. There is simply hardly anything to do for them there. -
It looks like Disney just launched a brand new website, http://disneyland.disney.go.com/ (or you can simply type in Disneyland.com). It does features quite a few new attraction videos as well as 360 degree views throughout the park.
