  1. I like to put my hands up and to the side on rides! I and I understand. >.> Not to be rude, but yeah, we had a couple people come back with bloody hands while I worked at the Beast. You're okay usually if you put you hands straight up, but out to the sides there isn't much clearance, especially in the helix tunnel. If you've seen what I've seen, you wouldn't be so quick to stick your hands out to the side on the beast. -James "I'm being nice to call them 'bloody hands' as they were pretty nasty injuries" Dillaman
  2. Is anybody else here addicted to the History Channel? I can watch it all day sometimes. The stories of real life interest me way more than watching made up crap. I was wondering if i'm the only one, as my girlfriend doesn't really appreciate the programming. She says I'm unique in my interest in History without wanting to go to school for it, but I'm out to prove her wrong. Help me out, Please! You can also post about favorite shows or strange facts you've learned. -James "Watching the history of playing cards right now!" Dillaman
  3. Paratroopa
  4. Well, I haven't riden to ride, yet (Shocking I know!) so I can't give any review about it. I'm not blessed with ESP like others seem to be on this forum. I'm reminded of Kentucky Rumbler, which from the POV animation I didn't think would be nearly as fun as it turned out to be... -James Dillaman
  5. You have to remember, a family park (already established for families) building a big coaster attracts more thrillseekers, whereas SFMM already has coasters, so they need more family rides... -James Dillaman
  6. This tour was amazing! All the classics from the Complex Tour with some added stuff. A funny piece on global warming ("In the event of the icecaps metling during the show, your seat cushion may be used as a floatation device."), and the highlight of the evening for Julia and I was probably the surprising talent of Tracy Bonham. Her opening act was amazing. The Blue Man Band, as always, were impeccable both rhythmically and musically. They know how to rock! Jumping everywhere, and a great lead guitar solo, while decked out in spandex and sequins! This tour is a must-see for anyone who's ever seen the stage show or the complex tour, as it combines the elements from both. The painting and the TV-head thing is brought in from the stage show, and all the great songs from the complex tour are there as well. GO SEE THIS TOUR if it comes anywhere remotely near you. I gurantee it is well worth it. -James Dillaman
  7. My bad. I saw the "The Complex Rock Tour" on DVD. I thought it was the new one. Sorry. Or it might even be the same thing? I saw a promo for it at the anahiem pond and they used footage from that DVD. Now it could be because the show is similar, or its the same show with some tweaking at least. Well Julia and I are leaving in about an hour to go downtown. I'll report here how similar this tour is to the complex tour, for anyone intrerested. Hopefully we can find a place to park, what with Tall Stacks going on and everything... -James Dillaman
  8. Um... That's just gross. James Dillaman
  9. ^ Um.... no? -James "Check again" Dillaman
  10. Tell me more about these days? Are there dragons and unicorns running around also?
  11. My young puppy Miles (He's 2) has pancreatitus (sp?) and only a 50.50 chance, please pray for him as he's in the hospital... I appreciate it, -james Dillaman
  12. Will be at PKI today around noon until whenever. If you'd like to meet up and "chill" out on some coasters, give me a ring.. -James Dillaman
  13. ^ The streaming video doesn't work on my Mac, either, but I complain not, as it's easy to download and watch the videos. Everything else about this site is great. I am a Mac user, and i DID switch to a mac because I realized the OS was IMO better, but I never complain about stuff for windows, as with the right freeware, my computer seems to handle any pc files just fine. -James "Anyone who's looked at the pricetags knows why there are so many pc's in the world " Dillaman
  14. ^ You saw the rock megstar tour?!? Dude, what's it like, I've only seen the Complex tour available on DVD, not even the stage shows were out on DVD when i last looked. -James Dillaman
  15. buried in ice???? Brilliant!!! Brilliant!!! -James "XD" Dillaman
  16. Yeah, i heard this on the Bob and Tom show, they even said as a "stand-up comedian", he stole material from other people. It's sad to see the fall of sitcom actors... -James Dillaman
  17. I'm hoping they get that MUCH. This is CP, after all, and I'll believe their theming in the video when I see it finished! -James ";)" Dillaman
  18. Anything by Elliott Smith X/O RIP Elliott Smith -James Dillaman
  19. What's even more sad is all the f%#$ing news coverage. They showed the mennonites burying the dead from a helicopter hovering over the amish graveyard. LET THEM GREAVE IN PEACE!! -James Dillaman
  20. Ha ha! Made you eat your parents.. na na na na na na! -James Dillaman
  21. I've seen the Complex Tour and the Venetian Show, have you seen the Megastar tour?
  22. 1. I have never dated somebody the same age as me, in fact I've been to six different HS Proms, one in 9th, two in 10th, one each 11th, 12th, and as a college freshman (the girl I was dating at the time was a year younger) 2. I play or have played numerous musical instruments, including piano, oboe, saxophone, guitar, bass guitar, violin, church organ (with the bass pedals) drum kit, mallet percussion, clarinet, flute, and steel drums (tenor pans) 3. I have met a few "famous" persons: Billy Idol, Pauly Shore, Dave Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, and Brian May (Guitarist from the Rock megagroup Queen) 4. I have an overly sensitive nose, and usually pick up smells way before others do. 5. Everyone in my family (including my bride to be) has a name starting with the letter "J": My father, John; my mom, Janet, my brother Jeff, Me of course, my dog Jazzmine and my lovely better half Julia. -James Dillaman
  23. Would love to, but I am not a rulebreaker. This is true at theme parks, and at concerts. The tickets clearly say no photography of any kind, so no photo TR. Sorry. -James "Will post a review, however " Dillaman
  24. Hey, I was just wondering what to expect from this show. It's in Cincinnati this Sunday and I'm taking my fiancé. I've seen the Complex Rock Tour show and the Vegas venetian stage show. Has anybody by chance seen this tour and is it really taht different from the stage show and the Complex tour? -James Dillaman
  25. I'm hoping they took all the forces into consideration, but to be fair, arrow and vekoma looping coasters haven't, to my knowledge, snapped any necks in their inversions, so I'd say it's pretty dougbtful from Intamin. -James "Can't wait to use my CF Maxx pass to ride this next summer" Dillaman
