Any flats that I should pay attention to?

Well I like the Blue Streak @ Cedar Point b/c I can get some sweet airtime. And I also like the Beast @ PKI or KI b/c of the out of control feeling and sense of speed in some areas-not trimmed to death

Son of Beast or Beast

Hands down, -BEAST- I am yet to be letdown by this sweet ride. The trims suck but at night they are not as noticeable. That double helix is like sent from the Gods it's so sweet. -
Thats great! Any tips for the woodies located at this park? Should I have high hopes or will I be dissapointed?

What do you consider long for a line at Kennywood? I am used to hour waits at Cedar Point.

My vote is for Raptor. The drop is killer and it is intense. Batman is a close second though. -
What Makes a Coaster Scary?
dwerling replied to Adriel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The unkown is kinda scary. I was shaking pretty bad before I rode Dragster for the first time. Not knowing what to expect can be a bit frightening. Especially when you are going over 100mph -
I'm going to Kennywood for the first time on Monday (21st). Can anyone give me any tips about how to attack this park? Also any riding tips (especially for Phantoms Revenge). I am really looking forward to this one. Would really like to know if there is an ejector seat or what. Is it floater or ejector air? Does anyone know of any discounts (AAA, Pepsi cans, etc.) Help me out please. I like to have a gameplan when visiting parks. Thanks Dan"never been to Kennywood" Werling

I have driven 6 1/2 hours to Darien Lake. Then just my luck the power went out and the only operating rides were luckily SROS and Viper. I also drove around 6 hours to get to SFGAm. Well worth the trip.

I don't buy it. The press would certainly know by now and it would have been leaked. -Dan "The announcement will not happen tommorow" Werling -

Wood or Steel?
dwerling replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I prefer the smoothness of steel -
Many entusiast choose S:ROS @ SFA over SFDL. It is also regularly voted higher in the internet polls. I beg the question why? I have ridden them both and find SFDL's S:ROS as a much more enjoyable/sweet ride. The one reason I feel this way....the pond/lake under it adds a ton to the experience. Also the mist at the bottom of the first drop is a sweet effect. The one at SFA was mostly over land and a tiny bit of nasty sewage looking ponds. No effects. Bad staff running it. I am just asking why many prefer the SFA one over the SFDL one. No replys on how much better the SFNE one is the best. That is already known.

I also rode in row two the second time and let me tell you...Jackhammer City. Front Seat is the only way to enjoy Villian. -

Villian is tolerable and I thought actually great in the front seat.(Not sure where you sat?) I actually liked X-Flight better than Superman UF. Pacing is better. I do for sure agree with you that it is a pretty nice little park. -
Most INTENSE Coaster Moment?
dwerling replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1.) TTD Launch-I had snot forced out of my nose on the way up the hill 2.) SUF Pretzel Loop- Lost my wallet on this forceful element 3.) Millennium Force's first drop- Amazing...when is it going to end? -
Villian @ Geauga Lake. It is still an amazing coaster though
