Photo TR: Non-German Tom's California Adventure
Ed replied to Shockwave's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
No, they were pretty crazy. But I've not stopped driving aggressivelysince I got back, so I'm scaring all the British drivers! No change there then... Did you enjoy staring at the Matterhorn? -
Thorpe had in their mid-term plans a second Detonator tower. It was going to be 115ft though. Thorpe's height ceiling is still around 115ft mark. Stealth is an exception and only it is allowed above that height.

They did the turn-around aswell. That's why the track sits inside the white framework and not ontop of it. -

Oh Ben... You're just an arse generally. <3 The effects are hardly ever all on. I've seen the water vortex like.. twice in all my visits to Blackpool. It SOAKS you. Basically the jets don't have enough power to make it over you half the time and just end up falling on your lap. -

Let's just say that my homie Non-German Tom can drive like he's got a flywheel in his foot, especially through empty Knotts' parking lots! -Don You don't know the half. He almost killed me and Lou in a Supermarket carpark once! -

The one SS i've ridden at Thorpe is great. I Love the floaty airtime you get at the top of each big swing (when you're facing up). With the lapbar up a bit its just cool to be suspended in the air for a second. -

Blackpool is only open on weekends And I believe Robb goes home tommorow. -
Halloween really isn't that big of a deal over here. I don't actually understand the whole meaning of the day. Also people tend to grow out of trick or treating pretty fast. We have Halloween parties though where you just dress up and have a fun night... I don't think i've ever seen a house nearly as decorated as that over here!

I thought people who had Leukemia were like... Ill... If I had that I wouldn't go round jumping on trains. Or did he get it after he did that? (I still wouldn't do it!)

Curse me moving like 200 miles away from Manchester! I want to meet Yetiball. -
Whoever the judge was in this case is a murderer. He's sentanced a man (doesn't matter if they are guilty or not) to death. Nobody should have to right to take life from anyone. Even though I don't agree with the death penalty.. If anyone is sentanced with it I would much rather have it done by lethal injection. Hanging is just such a terrible way to kill someone. Purposefully breaking someones neck.. I know he's commited horrific crimes.. But i'd much rather see him rot in a prison somewhere for the rest of his life scrubbing toilets.

Wow... I hope they don't employ any Tatsu ops to check the restraints.

I count Fuga as a credit! It even has 2 cable lift hills! And it doesn't break down like El Toro does It has some good airtime going down those drops in the back of the boats! And you only have a seatbelt for a restraint. It's so cool! Lord I miss Gardaland so much. It's one of my favourite parks. It's so beautiful. And I really liked the SLC there. It was smooth and half-themed. The underground (I think) Pirate ride was fantastic aswell! -
