I agree with Shavethewhales. HaJiMe, don't be such a baby. I think people complain too much about roughness on coasters. A coaster is meant to give a sensation of "out of control". If you want a pleasent ride, take the monorail. Rage looks cool, I think that I will like this one. Rage, here I come! -

Donderstenen means Thunderstones. Yeah, Attractiepark Slagharen looks a lot like an rct park. Cool report, I've visited both parks a little while ago and I liked them. -

Well, it's normal for a wood coaster to be rough. So is pegasus. I didn't mind it at all. It's a family coaster. As Robin Hood. But not Troy! Omg this is a very O My God-tish coaster. Well done Toverland. I'm very surprised by the ride's lay-out. I think this ride will get a High rate on wooden coaster polls. -

Your right about that. It's better to have just 3 rollercoasters, but their damn good, instead of having 20 rollercoasters but 15 of them sucks. They still got X though! Ow BTW, I forgot to say that Psyclone has the only wooden roller coaster trains ever built by B&M. Each train weighs 5000 lbs! That's why it's rough I think.
-
Funny. Great job you did here.

As of my writing now, it is official. (I've seen this on plenty other websites, claiming it's official, so I'll go for that) Psyclone and Flashback are being torn down. So SFMM is out of the race to be the park with the most coasters in the world. I did saw this coming I think.... Now Superman ain't at SFMM anymore, I'm starting to believe that their going for more of a family park.

Normally I don't mind roughness on coasters. My pain level is very high. But so far El Condor, in Walibi World, Holland (I'm Dutch), the first SLC *EVER* ,is my most painfull coaster. But I still like it.

A friend of mine works at Toverland. He keeps me updated once in a while. So sometimes I know things many others do not, yet. Now thats cool. I WILL go to Toverland next year! I hope this ride has airtime by then. Also, Toverland is a park wich is open year round, so are the coasters. This wil be one of a few woodies around the world open year round. That's quite cool too! -
Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

To ginzo: Was the problem in the loop? Just as I said before I read the article about 10 times but still don't believe that the problem was in the loop that had coused the excident. Safety first of course, but I just can't see why they should remove the loop for that. But hey, RCCA is the wooden Togo coaster manufacturer. Too bad only that they don't make all of their coasters with the steel track they used on the loop. I know that it aint woody's what they make, but their coaster should be way more smooth. -

Coasterboy2 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't mind Roughness, though I do prefer smooth rides instead of shaky ones. The fact that they took the loop out to make the ride smoother sucks. What kind of holes can they be? Sorry, the only wooden looping rollercoaster in the world was special. The fact that it was the tallest, fastest and second longest wooden coaster in the world was cool but "meh". This decision makes no point to me. Not even after reading their explanation about 10 times. I don't get it. Plus the fact that it's very bad news, makes it totally wrong. Ceder fair always new how to f**k up good rides, (not that this was a good ride) but this is by far the worst thing they ever did. Shame on them! Now if I ever get this credit, it will be without loop. BTW, CP_Rules: Loopings on wooden coasters should be attempted again! Becouse the loop was the best part of the ride, it could be attempted again. I hope so. -

For a themepark named after a singer, this one rocks! Dollywood is one of the (many) must do parks for when I visit the US. Dollywood, here I come! O BTW, your pics are great! -
