  1. I'm not critisizing them. I had a family friend in 9/11.
  2. But wouldn't the people on those flights be in the same position as flight 93? They had hijackers take over the plane just like 93 so they could have done something. If you watched that 9/11 conspiracy video on another thread, it's kind of obvious that the people knew what was going to happen. Here's a link www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23716
  3. Exactly. Not everyone knew the story of UA93. My friend barley knew about it. he thought that the plane was shot down. The movie makes you wish that the ending was different. I know some people that forgot completly about 9/11. when they saw the movie, they said that 9/11 was made up. It's so sad that the passengers came so close to saving their lives. They did the right thing about not going down without a fight. My dad is angry that passengers on flight 175 and 77 knew what was going to happen but didn't do anything.
  4. BeemerBoy does have a point. Every time there is a tragedy, there is a movie about it(Titanic, Munich, Chindlers List). But, the movie is like a wake up call. There are already some people that already forgot that 9/11 occured. There are also people that said that 9/11 never happened. Check this link out: www.imdb.com/titlett0469641/ I wonder how much people would complain about that. People should not expect this movie to be accurate. The only way that we know what happened on the plane was through the phone calls of the people on board, the black boxes, and the people that saw UA93 hit the ground.
  5. I just got back from seeing the movie. It's very sad especially at the end. The passengers were so close to getting control of the plane. I was suprised that no one was crying. I was kind of graphic when the passengers started to attack the hijackers.
  6. I kind of think of it as a story of courage. The people on the plane knew what was going to happen and decided to do something about it. The 9/11 conspiracy thread has some video on it. Some people at my school still think that fighter planes sot UA 93 down. I;m probably going to see it next week. They must have gone through extreme detail to make the movie. some of the characters look exactly like the real people.
  7. I'm going to see it when it comes out. There would probably be more controversy if the movie was about the other planes. My dad has a video of Flight 11, 175, and 77 hitting the buildings. I wonder which will be sadder, Munich or United 93.
  8. Who thinks that the movie, United 93 should not be released yet? I honestly have no clue if it was right to release the film this soon. It took 34 years for a movie about the Munich Massacre to come out.
  9. It seems like no one cares for JAWS 2,3,or 4. They would probably be good if Speilberg directed them. He and Wes Craven are probably the best movie directors. It would be scary if Wes Craven directed JAWS... . P.S. I still can handle the burnt body scene in JAWS 2.
  10. Now there are rumors about JAWS 5 . www.jawsmovie.com has a section where part of the script is. Even though it would probably suck, I would still see it. In the script, Broady is alive. In JAWS 4, they say he's dead. People should realize that no JAWS movie will ever be better than the original. I wonder what SharkTums(Ellisa) thinks... The one and only JAWS. He had his reputation ruined with crumy sequles.
  11. "What's that thing y'all do before you kill an infadle(sp?) "Oh, You mean this, LALALALALALALALA
  12. I did add JAWS 4. I don't know why it didn't show up. I remember that part where Hogie swims to the sai boat and his clothes are dried. At the begginning, the shark has blood marks on it's mouth before it even bites the guy. Also, Ellen has those flashbacks(JAWs finale) and she wasen't even there when it happened. I'm lucky I got JAWS 4 for free. I wouldn't pay alot for it. My sister said the movie lacked showing dead bodies. Doen't show Sean's body on the DVD version?
  13. You're scared to go in the ocean. I watch JAWS at the beach and still go in the ocean. The only think I don't like in the ocean is seaweed and finding dead people. I just wathced JAWS 2 and still have to skip the part where he find the burnt body in the ocean.
  14. I know how they did that. They put the robot shark in the water and moved the camra closer so it looked like it was moving. In real life, the fins would need to move or else the shark would die. But hey..It's Hollywood. That dead body in JAWS 2 is SICK!!
  15. What's your favorite JAWS movie? I like the first one. That's the best. It scared me the whole time. It was vey suspencful. JAWS 2 made me queasy on a certain part. Plus, it wasen't even scary. JAWS 3 was O.K. It wasen't that thrilling. I'm sure thatif I saw the 3-D version, it would have been cool. JAWS: The Revenge sucked!! How does a shark follow you from New England to the Bahamas? Plus, it didn't show that guys body who got attacked at the beggining.
  16. After the BIG breakdown in 2004. The ride has had incredible up-time and has been up every visit from 05-Now. (About 20 visits).
  17. oooohhhh. I see. For some reason, I always thought that Ninja had Vekoma trains, not Arrow trains. I've noticed that Arrow trains on Vekoma coasters don't go together. Ninja's trains don't look like Arrow trains. Look at the photo below to see what I mean. Does Ninja's trains look more Arrow or Vekoma?
  18. O.K, I understand now. If Thriller was in the U.S. before modifications, God knows what the press would do. Someone who got whiplash would sue for lots of money and try to melt the ride. The U.S is a country where people will sue over anything. I remember a guy sueing McDonalds because it made him fat. Maybe Thriller/Texas Tornado/Zonga was a ride that was never meant to be built.
  19. So it's not safe to sit anywhere else in the train? You still have to use the "sit in the last car" rule? I find it stranget that Ninja is rough while Millenium Roller Coaster at Fantasy Island is smooth. They both use the same track gauge.
  20. I didn't know Zonga was dangerous. I knew some people blacked out on it but not dangerous. Unfortunatly, I can see this ride being scrapped in the future. So many changes have been done to it that it's preety much better scrapping it instead of keeping it running. It's sad when a nice coaster is butchered to death.
  21. For some reason, i've always felt safer in buzzbars instead of individual restraints. I hope that only the seat belts stay on Roller Coaster. It would stink if they decided to add lapbars on it.
  22. So there are no more coasters without any restraints. Why did Grand National change to individual restraints. I think they are worse than Gerstauler trains. Who came up with individual restraints? Also, did Big Dipper also get individual restraints?
  23. When I visited the park last week, the person at the entrance said that Ninja will be "better than ever." mabye they did get new wheel assemblies. I think after getting a paint job, Ninja won't be leaving anytime soon.
  24. The picture I posted was taken April 2. By now, all the supports are painted black. It looks like that the restraints on the trains are red instead of orange. Ninja opened today, April 15. If anyone rode it, please write if it was different or not.
