PHOTO TR:Jizzman's GREAT America Trip!
traincrossin replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great pictures Zach! You may not remember me, but I was the guy from Dayton and you said Xavier was better. Sorry about that, didn't know we were rival schools. Anyways, i'm glad you enjoyed your day at Six Flags Great America! Back seat on Raging Bull has some of the best airtime ever and the ride is very twisty! I also love the double down on Viper. Great America has some under-rated coasters! I'd like to think that I can control myself despite Jo's powerful influence and separate myself from the so called "hoard". -

^That's looking great! Just a quick observation, but it looks like the road wheels on the top are off the track a little bit. -

Park City definitely looks like a fun time! I love skiing and am loving your winter adventures! I'm going to Breck in a week for some skiing action, they opened up an alpine coaster too! I can't wait to ride it, it's going to be my first one! -

^Lots and lots of brown and black, any way to add another color into the mix? -
This was such a fun photoshop contest and there were a ton of hilarious entries! Unfortunately I can only vote for two so I picked mine and ebarth's funny yet disturbing Wisconsin Pool Party picture. Good luck to everyone! I will tell everyone where Prince Desmond and Mujabubukins are at the end of the contest! EDIT: Desmond revealed! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=980998#p980998

The only part I don't like about Maverick is the neckchop transitions right at the beginning, but I love everything else about that ride! -
It's time for a 2010 picture recap

^That one of the butterfly and the Haunted Mansion is great! -
^They're slides Great America doesn't have though and offer completely new experiences for the average guest. Plus this, the lagoon pool, and wave rider increase the capacity of Hurricane Harbor by 30%. Also, the goal of the superloop is to hug the sides of the slide through the helix from the forces.

^What's up with the ferris wheel? Looks like parts of it are chopped off. -

^That picture of Griffin from TPR SFGAm day is great! Such a fun day. There have been some great pictures so far! Here are some of my favorites from 2010. The queue for Little Dipper provides some great shots of Batman's first drop! Not a cloud in sight! Showing love for Iron Wolf A cool silhouette of Raging Bull and Demon First time to Holiday World, here's Raven! Liberty Launch doing its thing Do the clouds look fake to anyone else? Trying my best to get an action shot Raven Splashin Safari with Wildebeest in the corner Raging Bull turnaround Batman Behind the scenes look of Iron Wolf I view of the first drop you can't usually get The timing on this one was perfect Giant Drop and Raging Bull Raging Bull and Viper on a backstage tour The storm from TPR SFGAm day, very eerie yet totally awesome! And one of my favorite shots of Pilgrim's Plunge and a flower -

Front row "Ow ow ow, my ears!!!" Fantastic photos Hanno! Those zoom shots of the riders are amazingly clear. That was such a fun day at Great America and the backstage tours were excellent! -
Busch Gardens Tampa - 3/16/1998 I long time ago when I was 6, my family and I went on vacation to Florida for spring break. During that trip, we went to Busch Gardens for a day. It was a long time ago so I don't remember much about the place, if I screw up on something let me know! Since my brother, sister, and I were too short to ride the roller coasters, we spent most of the day going on kiddie rides and looking at the animals. I found these pictures and thought that I would share them with everyone. Enjoy this look back at Busch Gardens Africa! The train ride snaked all over the park You can see part of the sky ride and monorail on the right Posing with a gorilla statue! I'm on the right with my brother Alex and my sister Meredith. I remember there were a ton of cool animal exhibits Giant turtles! More turtles! I'm on my dad's shoulders looking at the gators, i'm glad I didn't fall in! They look angry I'm not sure what statue my sister is on, but behind her is the Show Jumping Hall Of Fame which apparently has been moved to Kentucky. My brother and I in front of a waterfall Look, a koala! You're so cute! I want to feed you a leaf. Riding the kiddie rides in the Land of the Dragons I got a car all to myself Us in an egg on the kiddie ferris wheel My sister being cute in a hippo mouth The plains of Africa Me relaxing on a rock My brother with the now defunct Python coaster in the background And my entire family with flamingos in the background. Hope you enjoyed these old pictures!
