Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread
Guy T. Koepp replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Smooth and Voyage should be an oxymoron. I believe the question you might want to be asking is, "How much more or less brutal is Voyage in comparison to 2007?" -
The Official TPR Video Thread!

The video looks amazeballs! I am looking forward to getting out and riding this beast this year. -
^^They purposefully choose those type of themes so that they don't have to maintain the ride. The older and more deteriorated the ride gets, the better it fits the theme. Look at Apocalypse, the ride's theming gets better with every damaging ray of sunlight that hits it. I think the only way they could upgrade the theming would be to have a chainsaw wielding madman walk through the que and hack s#!t up. The next time a real Cyclone hits New England, Six Flags PR department will spin it as, "Due to the overwhelming success of Wicked Cyclone, We decided to theme the whole park to a storm ravaged town."

I might just be on my last legs for this game. You might say, "I think I might be tapping out of Tap Out."

^I had seen this a few days ago. Quite brilliant!

Asia Park in DaNang, Vietnam
Guy T. Koepp replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
South Carolina's, well, loss (for lack of a better term) is Vietnam's gain. If I had a nickle for everytime someone said these exact words, I'd be a whole 5 cents richer. -
I Tapped out on this update as soon as I got Side Show Bob. Get it... ...Tapped out... ...cause it's the name of the game. = Comedy! Laugh damn it! These jokes won't write themselves!

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

All I can tell you about the Voyage is, no one in my family rides it anymore. I was the last hold out. We all ride rollercoasters to have fun. And it's just not fun to us. I would seriously caution you if you have experienced any kind of neck or back pain. Haters call it rough, fanboys call it aggressive. Whatever you choose to call it, it is an experience unlike no other coaster out there. Good, bad, or otherwise. Holiday World is an awesome park with one of the most family friendly staff and fun family attractions around, and is well worth the price if you decide to ride the Voyage or not. My family and I love the place. We can't wait to get out there this year and experience Thunderbird for the first time. -
Not even close.

Congrats John! It sounds awesome! You should be very proud.

^You're probably like me. I'm not a coaster enthusiast, I'm a coaster semi-enthusiast. I liken it to sweet chocolate, and semi-sweet chocolate. We're just like regular chocolate, only not as sweet, and have a little bite. And we taste better when used for cooking. So essentially we are the more cookable, coaster lover, with attitude. Mmmmmmmmmmm! Bacon wrapped, batter dipped, deep fried semi-enthusiast. Just the way God intended!

If all this stuff about it flipping differently on each side is true, I could definitely see them painting each track different colors, and calling it 2 FACE the ride. They could even go so far as to have the protective coverings between the wheel bogies and spoon arms created like giant silver dollars.
