Hmmmmmmm. I could be over thinking this, but it just doesn't seem safe to be launching a coaster through a pane of glass. For that matter just launching off the end of track could be dangerous. I've tried this on RCT to less than optimal results. People didn't seem to want to ride after the first cycle. Is there some sort of air bag that stops the train somewhere? Perhaps ride parameters are a bit different over there in the Emirates? Furthermore, I know I can punch right through dry wall, but it could be quite painful to ride a coaster train through it. Especially in the front row. And the crew is gonna have to work hard to replace both glass and drywall after every cycle. They're probably going to have to hire a construction crew to do that exclusively all day long. And what if someone on those crews call in sick for the day, will they just shut down the ride, or run it without the drywall and glass? I know I would want the whole experience if I were to ride. Just my 2 cents.

That's what I'm beginning to lean toward, and I don't think I'll be going through LAX since I can pay $20 extra and go to Burbank. I was thinking I would go to LAX to save money on the flight and maybe car, but the extra headache and distance doesn't make sense. I have only been there once when I was very young so luckily I don't remember and am trauma-free, but I have heard it's just a place to avoid at all costs. I'm planning on staying at the Hilton Garden Inn right next to the park-it even has Six Flags in its name!-since I can get a very good employee rate. Has anyone been there? Any rooms to avoid? I hate getting stuck in a room with a floodlight outside, or some A/C unit right below your window edit; by the way, thanks for the rental car lookup, I didn't look at hotwire yet. You also showed me that if I leave on Thursday, it is $8 cheaper per day. Thanks! edit again; does anyone know what all this weird stuff west of the park is? But the oil platform explanation make sense if you're into those conspiracy theories.

It's a sad and pathetic few that ruin it for the masses. They're like the Wesboro Baptist Church of the TPR forums. I for one loved this event and loved Brandy for doing such an awesome job of coordinating it. You made it fun and entertaining. You're the best! If we're ever out on the midways having a blast somewhere, and you see one of the Westboro's. Let me know and I will happily kick them in the balls for you.

Magic Mountain was there first. The way I see it, if you move in next to an amusement park, you get what you deserve. Loud late nights that are only worsened by loud early mornings during the on season. I could understand if there were housing developments there before the amusement park, but building a house right next to an existing amusement park and then complaining. As far as I am concerned, they can STFU!

Yeah, I think you might be in the minority here. I have had nothing but great experiences at the Busch parks all around. Very friendly staff, and for the most part very consistent and quick operations. I don't know what may have happened on your trip, but I have never seen anything even close to the low level of MM status.

Valentine's Day! They could have a shooting dark ride themed to Cupid. You would shoot arrows into people/things and make them fall in love. The points would multiply when you shot people that were compatible. Like for instance, if you shot a boy and a girl, you would get 100 points. But if you shot a boy and an armoire, you would only get 5. Like chicks and shoes would be 1000. Gay man and a Marilyn dress 500. Bull dyke and combat boots 750. The possibilities are endless.
