It seems that Knott's has a lot more land to expand onto than most people think. They own all the land (currently a parking lot that is hardly ever used) on the corner behind their rapids ride. Two spots across the street. One across La Palma behind Excelerator. The other opposite the secondary gate across Western. With those three areas alone they could almost double the size of the park. As well as build some major rides. Depending on the regulations that pertain to the residential areas near by. Guy "Do I smell a Hyper for Knotts?" Koepp

^That's why we did 3 different calculations on the peice of "Tatsu" track. As you move more toward paralell in a picture, that angle would tend to get steeper. Without actualy seeing the piece of track. Alana's father thinks that it is possible to be as steep as 52 degrees. I don't know about that... but I do know that "Shekra's" lift is real steep. My family (All from Vegas) will probably be heading opposite you guys on their way back from So Cal for Turkey day. They won't be riding coasters though. I believe the feeling they are most going for is flight. As high as this thing is off the ground, it should achieve this. I think the positive forces fealt most will still be at the base of the pretzel loop. Mabey at the base of the innitial drop. Are there such things as negative G's on a flyer? Done & done! So many of the new coasters that I rode in Floruba apeared in my top 10. My God, what was I missing? Should I buy my new Extreme passes Today? Could they be phased out by the end of the year? When will the new seats be appointed? Will they go up in price right when the new management take place? Perhaps the increased heart rate mimics excercise? Also, it's not artery-clogging, it's Low-Carb. Perhaps the feeling of escaping death reduces stress? All are very good points. I also believe that if a true coaster enthusiast starts at a young enough age as well as building up his stress level by starting on much more tame rides. Here's what I don't understand. How is it that ACER's have the worst eating habits. Are usualy exceptionaly un-fit. Probably suffer from several mental illnesses. And we still can't get one of their hearts to explode on a thrill ride. Those guys are un-stoppable! Their genetically engineered to consume mass quantites of artery clogging food. Their muscles are atrophying from lack of physical exertion. Most of them are adrenaline junkies and furries. Yet they still prevail. I can't wait to get to this park for the holidays. We will be in Tennesee on the 20th of December. I just hope it's not too cold to run Thunderhead and Tornado. Goliath @ 6fMM and Titan are Hyper Twisters. Goliath at 6foG is just strictly a Hyper. It does have that nice downward helix with no trims or MCBRs at the turnaround. You should get some pretty intense Gs during that. but for the most part it is a standard out & back. Guy "Wow, that almost sounded like I knew something about coasters." Koepp
