  1. I got in line at about 9:10 tonight and waited less than half an hour. Would have waited even less if it didn't go down for about 10 min.
  2. Yes, that's what I liked about Knoebels when I went back in April. Them ride ops don't muck around. And are there any Flash Pass restrictions on Maxx Force for the moment? Maxx Force is only on Platinum Flash Pass, and you only get to skip the line once per day. The first 50 Diamond Elite members can use one of their two skip the line passes for Maxx Force. After they hand out 50 Skip the line passes, no one else can get one that day. Actually I was just at the park and while the website advertises what you said, there was no flash pass for Maxx Force today. An employee said there would be "soon"..
  3. Batman the ride, great America Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’m in the park today too and I thought the operations on Maxx force were very good. That line was always moving. And they were very good throughout the whole park so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Some of the food trucks are really good. My favorite is the Argentinian one. I forget what it’s called exactly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I did but was advised against it because they are usually never on time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks. I figured 294 was the better option but believe it or not google, and my iphone said to take 90.
  8. Gonna be visiting the park for the first time in a couple weeks and I'm wondering what the best route is to take in terms of avoiding traffic if possible. Coming from the east it looks like my two options are to take 90 right through Chicago or to go around Chicago on 294. Or is there a 3rd option? Thanks.
  9. Nice report! I can't believe I haven't been to KI yet this year... I really want to check out the brewhouse.
  10. And according to the following article Cedar Fair was planning on putting a dark ride in every park. Not sure if that’s still the plan... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/travel/themeparks/la-trb-cedar-fair-dark-rides-20150415-story.html%3foutputType=amp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. lol, who's getting worked up? Personally I don't think a dark ride is all that exciting, or " big". But everyones definition of "big" is different.. And you're right, it can mean anything from a ride to banners. But I don't understand why so many are quick to dismiss the idea of a ride. And the pomposity of some while doing so is very annoying. In 2020 there will be a new ride to help celebrate 150, that much is clear.
  12. Cedar Fair built Wonder Mountain's Guardian at Canada's Wonderland. According to the following interview there will be a new ride for 2020. And he mentions "celebrating" the coliseum...
  13. Do you consider a dark ride to be something big? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Because you know all... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Jason McClure said there will be some kind of new ride for 2020. He also hinted that the coliseum would be “celebrated”. So I’m obviously thinking dark ride that maybe could also technically be counted as a coaster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Wow, I think my “liberty” comment has been taken out of context just a little bit. All I meant is that we have had the freedom to pick a row forever, and now we don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It's a liberty that that is being taken away. That's the issue IMO. And like I said before I understand why they do it on a ride like SV which always has a long line. But when the back is open, nobody there, letting my friend and I go to the back instead of row 5 has no impact on how the line moves. On Wednesday when I was assigned a row on Raptor the line was 10 minutes long... And I'd gladly wait an extra 10-15 minutes if it means I get to pick my row.
  19. When you say: entitled to complain, do you mean to management or just in general? I'm certainly not the guy who will ask to speak to the manager/ supervisor, and I am always polite. And it certainly doesn't put a damper on my day, but I disagree with it being insignificant. Where I sit on a coaster can drastically change my experience. For example, the Beast. If I'm in row 1 (the best row), row 11 (the smoothest row) or row 17 (the most intense row while still being smooth enough) I love it. If I'm in any other row I don't like it.
  20. This is what I think too. It’s just that I’ve never had an issue with it CP, ever. And I visit the park 20+ times a year. When I went to Carowinds last year I couldn’t get this chick to let me ride in front. When the crew rotated the new person was more than happy to let me go in front. But back to CP. I expect it at SV, Maverick, Valravn if I’m with a big group or an odd numbered group. But not Raptor or Iron freaking Dragon when it’s a group of 2.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Ahh, ok so that’s what happened. While waiting for Raptor a train on Valravn was stopped near the top of the lift hill, and it was there for at least 20 minutes. Then while on the sky ride I saw another one stopped at the same point. I’m so relieved nobody was hurt because with the way your legs are exposed on those trains the first thing that went through my mind was what happened to a certain ride at Alton Towers... On another note, I brought this up earlier and on my visit yesterday it was still a thing... And that is the fact that CP is not honoring row requests on rides where they are assigning rows. SV, Maverick, and Raptor (1st for that one) did not allow me to pick my row. Just my biggest pet peeve about parks. I mean I get it, but at the same time allowing my friend and I to wait for the next train in our row of choice is not going to slow the line down.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Raptor... in row 5... b/c Cedar Point apparently isn’t honoring row requests anymore... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It was running for early entry on Sunday. Nice. Looks like the noon open is gone!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
