  1. ^ How else are parents supposed to put up with long waits for Belle meet and greets?
  2. ^ Walt also let people smoke anywhere they want in the park. Times change, attitudes change.
  3. I found this picture...which may explain why no one remembers them having one.
  4. Some Disney fan sites think serving wine at a high end restaurant means they're going to be selling body shots of princesses in a year or something. So silly how this is getting blown out of proportion.
  5. Read this. http://techcrunch.com/2012/09/13/the-iphone-5-event/
  6. There may be some embassy openings soon I'd imagine.
  7. ^ Have there ever been Nemo M&G characters? I'm drawing a blank. Not counting Turtle Talk.
  8. This just makes me want a Bioshock maze even more and more. GET ON IT UNIVERSAL!
  9. ^ Good idea for a high-end table service restaurant to serve wine, still funny Gaston's Tavern doesn't serve booze.
  10. ^ Yeah, I think the publicity they are receiving from demo'ing this is far greater than moving it to whatever park.
  11. ^^ Again, the only people who are probably getting bent out of shape about this post on forums like this.

  13. Every entry level iPhone has been priced at $200 for the base model, the only exception being the very ORIGINAL 2007 iPhone which was $500 at launch (price dropped to $400 in fall of 2007). The 4 and 4S both were $200 for a 16GB model. So Apple's pricing has been consistent since the iPhone 3G in 2008. I'll definitely be buying the 5, as my 4 has run its tour of duty admirably, but I'm itching for the upgrade. Nothing about the phone really wows me (too many leaks!), but I'm fine with incremental upgrades to what is already the most consistent quality brand of smartphone. I am annoyed I'm going to have to shell out $30 for some stupid adapters though.
  14. TTR was fun but I'm surprised it ran as long as it did...that thing was scary rickety back in 2000. Will be interesting to see what opens in its place.
  15. Haha a Chupacabra maze has the potential to be the best worst thing ever.
  16. 1. The General Public doesn't really give two sh's about park announcements. Most of the people who would be speculating on this announcement (and thus let down) would be people posting on this board, whereas normal people will hear about it through the news or in advertisements once it's open. People get their hopes built up too much, mostly because forums like this exist where people start speculating Xtremeocoaster8000 is going to open instead of a kids area. 2. The analogy you presented doesn't make perfect sense. Theoretical people aren't being let down by the theoretical attraction/movie itself, they are being let down by the announcement/teaser trailer.
  17. You, sir, know nothing of reggae.
  18. Right next to Perilous Plunge.
  19. Would have been cool if they at least expanded Mermaid a little, especially the obviously cramped scenes near the end of the ride at DCA. They obviously had more space to work with at WDW...sigh.
  20. Maybe the ride ends in the tunnel and everyone dies.
  21. ^ Woops! Can't believe I forgot that! Magic Mtn also has the little kid train in Bugs Bunny World and then the Thomas Town train.
  22. ^ Disneyland and WDW both have two, the main railroad and Casey Jr.
  23. ^ Not really. So Cal schools tend to have spring break later than other places...so crowds aren't as horrendous as you'd think. Still busy, not mobbed.
  24. ^ Forgotten jewels, as in your family jewels might as well be forgotten after you ride.
