  1. This thread is going to end in comedy or tears...probably both.
  2. Anyone wanna hazard a guess what this blue statue is?
  3. ^^ No. The only reason I got those were because Photoshop didn't regenerate the thumbnail icon when Robb resaved them after cropping.
  4. Yeah, I just realized I wasted an hour going through photo metadata trying to figure this out. I need to give up on my CSI operations. wes (time to get out of the apartment)
  5. SNL is marginally better, but Mr. Show (RIP) was far and away the best sketch show of all time.
  6. Yeah, Reno is my guess too. Or at least somewhere in Nevada. Here's why: - The bunny picture=The Bunny Ranch, which is in Nevada. - All the pictures still have their metadata intact, and every photo except for the WATCH YOUR STEP was taken in the past two days. For example, the water picture was taken on 9/3/05, at 3:59:41pm. However, the WATCH YOUR STEP was taken on 1/29/04, 2:56:59am. I looked through the 04 updates, and the closest trip to that date was the Vegas trip. Infact, the metadata on the update's photos corresponds. That's some Sherlock Holmes shit going on right there.
  7. I pulled the water picture onto my computer to see if I could find anything by adjusting the brightness and contrast, and when I did, it seems the original image that Robb cropped the water from was still visible in its icon's thumbnail. I pulled the rest off to see if any more were like that, and the Idlewild one is too. This is the largest they'll go in OSX. So blue bumper boats...hmmm...
  8. ^ Are you trying to imply that Darth Vader is someone's dad? Who? Han Solo?
  9. "What kind of place has bunnies???" Six Flags = Bugs Bunny. TWA was bought by American. America. So either Six Flags Great America or Six Flags America?
  10. Wouldn't it be ironic if Thorpe threw Humdinger in there as the comedy option, yet it ends up winning?
  11. Basically just WC and Something Awful..How hard of a bandwidth hit did you get yesterday/today? I saw the thread coasterguy posted on there (BTW, who is coasterguy on this board?!)
  12. I'm spending the rest of the day voting for Humdinger.
  13. ^ "I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here." Mitch Hedberg. R.I.P.
  14. Lists where people complain about things.
  15. 1996 RRC WOOT. I have to scan some of the old photos of Super Fat Robb I have.
  16. One of the Howards was also Admiral Ackbar AND Salacious Crumb!! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0741717/
  17. ^ That's one element to it, and I'd assume that's where it gets alot of its drawing power. Although there are plenty of people who are in relationships (like me) who still use it. At a very basic level, myspace exists as a precursor to what is going to become the central hub for social internet communication. It basically rids the need for email addresses, since you can send messages to your friends through there. It rids the need for outside services like E-Vite, groups, newsletters, etc. Having a birthday party and want to invite your friends? Send the an invitation through myspace. Myspace is especially really great for bands. I can't tell you the amount of time my little crappy band has saved by just sending out concert flyers through the myspace bulletin feature. Putting out a brand new song? Upload the song to your band's profile, post a bulletin. I'm assuming Myspace will eventually open up an image hosting portion, where you'll be able to upload party/trip/vacation photos and have it being readily accessible. So, if we want to see your newest pics from your trip to SFMM, just link to your Myspace. I know this is extremely long-winded, but does it make sense? I'm not discounting the dating, meeting people portion though. "What's your myspace?" is the newest "What's your phone number/email/aim?"
  18. Claimed. Though, I personally preferred zackmorris@bayside.edu
  19. ^^ No one really knows the answer. It's good to keep track of friends and be able to post bulletins to them like "Hey, come to my band's show!" or "Meetup at Six Flags this weekend" etc. It's mostly a vanity thing though, people try to "collect" as many friends as possible so they can be an e-celebrity. It's really baffling. But it's addictive.
  20. It's so goddamn hot!!! Our AC doesn't seem to want to function, so I'm basically burning up in the apartment.
  21. ^ Eh, it's not like his profile has him doing something illegal or has half naked pics on there. Myspace will delete him if it's a big issue, but somehow I doubt they'll care. Besides, I'm sure 25% of the kids on there are under 16. Anyway, mine: www.myspace.com/wesbot I'll only add you if we've met in real life.
  22. I saw two movies this weekend.: Red Eye This movie wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. Despite the fact that Rachel McAdams is Hottie McHotHot and I kind of have a mancrushâ„¢ on Cillian Murphy, the movie just sort of fell flat. The tone was all over the place, and the pacing needed work. Combine that with the fact there are quite a few unintentionally funny bits of dialogue, and it just lost my interest. I did have a fun time playing the Benny Hill wacky saxaphone chase song in my head while he was chasing her around, though. They should add that to the DVD, it'd be at least 10x better. Final Verdict: 4/10 The Aristocrats Funny, but I was expecting too much. I don't really get big laughs off raunchy humor, and this movie is basically one long raunchy joke. They did a good job on the pacing and editing, one wouldn't think a 2 hour documentary based around a simple dirty joke could hold steam. Bob Sagat is frickin' hilarious, but the best interpretation comes from a Mime. Yes, a Mime. When he starts acting out the joke, you pretty much think "There is no way this is going to work..." but then it does work and it's really really funny. Recommended! 7/10
  23. ^ Uh, considering there's orders to evacuate the entire city, I somehow doubt she's going to follow through on those plans.
  24. You answered your own question.
