I've noticed this quite alot lately. It's my one HUGE spelling peeve. I think kids aren't typing the "g" because the g isn't very pronounced when you say the word. A whole generation raised on Hooked On Phonics will do that. Backround doesn't even make sense. Background, the ground in the back.

I played with one a few days ago. Man, is it tiny. I feel like I'm going to crush it. I already have a 30GB iPod, and the nano's storage capacity isn't enough to make me run out and buy one. When they get it up to 10GB, I'll be there.
