I have to agree! I haven't been on too many coasters yet, but The Hulk is my #1 so far! (Second to Medusa at SFGA.) I feel lift hills take too long, so a launch up the lift hill scratches me right where I itch! I went on the Hulk 6 times when we were there last year. Sad that the park had so many rides closed. Sorry you got a bad impression. It's really a great place when everything's functioning. But at least you got to ride the Mummy. That was my #1 before I rode the Hulk. Did you see the homage to King Kong in the treasure room? There's a statue of King Kong in the treasure room on the right side about in the middle. On February 15th (I think), we were at AK and I rode Everest (see screamin' guy in green shirt below...that's me!!!) Gmoney on Expedition Everest with my sis. I'm the one in the bright green shirt.

I was a REALLY late bloomer to RCs! I started riding only about 3 years ago. I was scared of them as a kid, but always fascinated by the engineering aspect. So one day I just said, "F this, I'm goin' for it!" GASM at SF Great Adventure was my first. Followed by Superman, Medusa, Batman and Nitro! Oh yeah, and the Runaway train. I pretty much got thrown to the lions on my maiden voyage into the coaster world! But I've been hooked on them like a crack addict since then!

My own Alvey meet & greet... I was so jealous of USRoadTripper meeting & hanging with the Alveys, that I decided to meet them myself!
