^Thanks Slacking! I really am looking forward to this event, just a shame that I have to wait a month before I get there. oh well at least it will be closer to Halloween when I go and I'll be celebrating my wedding anniversary down there in Florida(the 29th of October).

OMFG! Just checked out the video on The Thing house and I have to say that from what little I saw of the effects and props that are being used, this is going to be the IT house.It looks like that they really put alot of thought and effort into the house. Like I said before, I am saving that house for last, just in case I s@#! myself. It is going to be really good. Did anyone else think that the white guy in the cryo-freeze chamber resembled Kurt Russell a little? Maybe a little tribute to him and his character in the movie? Didn't previews start tonight(the 27th)? I am writing this Friday the 28th at 5:46am EST because I just got off of work. How was it? Please report back.One month exactly till I get to go!

^HeyJT3000,maybe they will have a little survey on which house you would like to see become a permanent fixture at US. I for one would like it to be The Thing house due to the ground breaking special effects the movie had for its time. It would tie in well with all of the other rides that have to deal with the movies. Here's an idea, get rid of Twister and put The Thing in that building, show in the preshow how the movie was made and then however the house is designed for HHN just put that in after the preshow as either a walk thru or ride thru and voila! everyone is happy! I doubt that would happen though due to the fact that the movie is 25 years old and today's customers want new ideas, although they are putting in a Simpsons ride and they have been around for almost twenty years. Sorry to babble on like this, but I think that would be a cool idea, but it will probably be a Dead Silence house because it is a newer movie and more people have probably seen that then The Thing. Sorry again for the long post.

^^^^^Hey Florida420, I didn't like the movie Dead Silence either. I was like WTF?, I just wasted 3.99 on renting this?No plot what-so-ever, and that stupid nursery rhyme?Again WTF? Although I must say that I think the house is going to be pretty cool because it is going to be like an old style vaudeville theater and it is going to have all of Mary Shaw's dummies(or should I say children?)in it. I don't like dummies, they scare me . I'll probably check out that house after I hit all the major attractions first.

Keep those dates coming everyone! I'm sure that if you are going on the same date as someone else they will want to hang out. And to everyone who is going before me, I LOATHE YOU! Just kidding. Maybe that October is just around the corner and that HHN is starting this weekend, we'll get more dates on this post. How about it people? I know more people have to be going. I'll just post in here everyday so that it stays on the 1st page of the forums. I'm going October 27th,so it will really feel Halloweeny(I know that isn't a word,but I like to say it) to me. ^Thanks for the link,mrceagle. The park looks beautiful in the winter with the snow. I would like to get up that way and visit that little park, my 2 year old nephew would love it, and so would I!

Nice tr. I like little parks like that where you can take your time and not feel rushed, I just wish that there were more parks like that around here where I live. I would love to see you do a report at Christmas time and see all the lights. I bet it looks fabulous!

It looks like we'll do Freddy first, Leatherface second, Jason third, and The Thing fourth, then we'll work our way around to the other attractions. Those are the main attractions I want to see in that order, then we'll check out the other stuff. October 26th can't get here quick enough for me. And I'm so sorry about what happened about your equipment Jarmor. Why can't people have more respect towards one another?

^I don't think that a Disney photo guy is there because I just watched the video again and the guy with the camera just stands there looking at them. Don't you think that if a Disney camera guy was there he would have stopped Pluto from going after the kid? He probably would have said yo,it's not worth it,even though kids are annoying and stupid,it is not worth getting sued over,so just chill man.

The kid probably deserved it. He probably punched or kicked the person in the costume and the mother should have been watching her son anyway. There should have been a cast member there to assist Pluto, so everyone is at fault here, Disney, the child,and the mother.

Ha-Ha! I love ghetto fairs. Great report. I hope that the license plate with God's Gift on it belonged to someone and they were waiting to pick it up at the end of the night because if they were just randomly selling that, oh boy ! And maybe she is a hot mama to someone. Ha-Ha!

Everyone is soooo lucky because you are all going early because all of you live in Florida and I don't and I have to wait till the end of October. Boo Hoo! Oh well I know all of you will give me a great report on HHN. Keep those dates coming so we can get together and hang out.

Hi everyone, I'm bobafett and I started this thread because it seems like alot of TPR members want to get together down at Universal's HHN17 in Orlando this year. Just post the dates that you are going and send a message to the person that is going the same night as you to see if they want to get together and hang out that night. This way we can meet fellow members and have fun together.My husband and I have tickets for Saturday October 27th,2007.So if anyone wants to hang out with us that night, just send me a message on this website to my account and I'll get back to you. I hope to meet my fellow TPR members that night and make new friends!

I started a new forum entitled " Halloween Horror Nights 17, what nights are you going?" This way we can post the dates we are going in that forum instead of this one and we can email each other to see if we can hook up with fellow TPR members and we can still watch this forum if anything new comes up regarding HHN 17 OK?

It didn't make sense to throw them out when they were still good to use and knowing how every little thing in the parks is expensive, especially when you have kids(which I don't but I have nieces and nephews)even just to buy those express passes cost alot of money. Going to a park like Universal can be expensive for a family so I was glad to help out!

Worst=Reporting a line jumper at Six Flags Great Adventure and after the ride I was approached by security and they wanted to arrest me because she said I assaulted her. Well you can imagine my reaction. It escalated into something very ugly but in the in end it worked out to my advantage, but I haven't been back there since it happened which was about 6 years ago. Best=Getting stuck on DD at IOA this past August for about an hour after a transformer went in the park due to the heat. It was toward the end of the day anyway and we did have express passes for that day and we did just about every ride in the park I went to guest services afterward and asked how I could be compensated and the young man asked me what did I want and I asked for express passes for the next day at Universal Studios and he said he would give express passes for both Universal Studios and IOA for the next day. I told him if I wasn't married I would have kissed him. Then going to Universal Studios the next day and getting unlimited front of the line access for all the rides in both parks and riding the Mummy like 100 times in a row! Then when we were done we gave our express pass tickets to a family with kids that were heading to the parks that evening. They were very grateful and hugged us and it turned out to be a great weekend at the parks for us.

Wow that commercial was awesome and the clowns hanging from the ceiling CREEPY! Keep the posts and photos coming, I'm whipping myself into a frenzy over here with all the new stuff being posted1 I can't wait till October 26th when I leave and the 27th when I can actually go to HHN. This year is going to INSANE!

^We didn't catch the Bill and Ted show the last time we were at HHN, but that little clip on you tube was cute, so maybe we will this year.
