^Sorry Joe! I apologize to you and anyone else I might have missed. I haven't done my part in the Beer Thread as of late also. I am surprised that it was un-stuck. -

^&^^We'll just have to do our best to keep it at the top. I'm sure Derek, Heath and Bubba will do their part. I need to help as much as possible along with Justin and Nay. Anyone else can join in the fun, as long as they are over 21 (United States). -

This is the end of the Big Mike Road Show in California. We went to CGA today and Mike tried to get to Traintown. I will let him tell you how the rest of his trip went. Onto the photos! One last photo of Mike's interview. Where will this one be aired? That's it for now. Hopefully we can make it to SFDK for Fright Fest and CGA for Haunt (at night time). We're heading to Virginia next weekend. Mike can't escape the press by the way. He ends up getting interviewed on our way out! Al Garcia is all the way to the right of the photo. Mount Rushmore is ready for Halloween. Another maze I told Mike that he needs to take the picture at the Survivor pole. Just like SFDK, I need the "new" smashed pennies because of the name change at CGA. Mike drives the Mystery Machine. Doesn't everyone have this picture? Hi Gyendolynne! Mike is wondering if he can get in there and play. The foam maze They have a talking pumpkin this year. I love the decorations for Halloween. The CarnEvil maze, located at the bumper cars. He actually pops up too! The Jack in the Box, sorry you can't order your food here. Add Big Mike! Gyendolynne and myself! Yep, almost looks like two in a row, but this sign was just outside the ticket windows. As we pull into CGA, the Nick or Treat sign was up. Big Mike in High Def and in person! -

^^I wish we could have met you at Indy, but I am not down in LA with Mike. He'll be coming back up to NorCal tonight and we'll probably be going to CGA for a little bit on Saturday. There aren't any plans set just yet. I will have to talk to the big man. -

Hey Rich, I am told your shirt says the following: Two figures are sitting on the open air toilet. Maybe Soren could help with this as well! -

Hey Rich! Gyendolynne was laughing out loud with your trip report. She thinks it is terrific. I have never been to China, but she has gone twice. She loves your picture of you with the wall. There is a person at her work that is German. She hopes to translate your shirt. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you some time soon. Rick & Gyendolynne -

Hey Everyone, Yep, Big Mike is here. We went to SFDK, Pixieland, and Gilroy Gardens. Mike got all his credits and then headed to Knotts Berry Farm. It was a great day at SFDK. There was rain, but we made it through! We ended our day riding the train and going through the rock maze before we left. Remember, go to the left in the Rock Maze....to the left, to the left...Until Friday, that's all for now! Here comes Big Mike with his Ghostdriver... Gyendolynne "steared" the car. We rode the old cars too. More theming at Quicksilver Express. Some of the bamboo trees. Monorail...HI SCOTT!!! Theming at the Quicksilver Express... Gyendolynne loves the plants, trees, and flowers. One of the neatest trees there. There's no way to get lost if you can see over everything. Mike wanted to go through the "maze" I can hear Mike saying Cha-Ching right now. Another coaster... You could actually buy a pumpkin if you wanted it. I thought these were neat, so did Gyendolynne. We didn't see anyone there for it. They had a trick or treat event. Final stop of the day. Gilroy Gardens All of us rode it! The reason why we are here. Gyendolynne with the gingerbread house. This doesn't look like it is one of the oldest carousels....does it? A lot of flat rides It was a neat small park. The entrance... Next stop... The elephant was getting a pedicure. Cougars I'm getting Jiggy with it. This might be our Holiday picture. Mike approves Thomas Train The Walrus kept spitting up the fish and putting it back in its mouth. Pure enjoyment was had by all... I couldn't convince Mike to lay down in Bugs' bed because it was wet and muddy. DracuBUGS... All of us with "Odin" Behind the scenes of the Big Mike Road Show. Kevin, you have definitely outdone yourself! This is by the entrance... Mike with the donkey! I love how they decorated the place! FrankenLonghorn... One of the new mazes/haunted house. I didn't get the new smashed pennies until today. Charles was kind enough to tell us it would be opening soon. We were the first ones to ride it! They were testing it... We went by the penguins on our way to Tony Hawk. I like the new bloody fountain! Today was the first day of Fright Fest. I love this time of year! Mike was interviewed instantly! Did they get this spider from SFMM? We're praying for the rain to go away. It did! Taking the tram from the parking lot. Nice car! It was cloudy all morning, but there wasn't any rain until we got there. As we get closer to SFDK, it start to rain! Big Mike arrives and checks in! -

I'm going to post a few photos of the Sharks game we went to before I post some photos with the Big Mike Road Show. He's a good mascot. Coming up the row. Sharkie came up for a birthday party of a kid in front of us. Gyendolynne and Susan are happy, too bad the Sharks didn't play well. I think this is one of the neatest entrances. Here come your Sharks! At the time, it was 12 days before opening day. It is this Thursday. Some pre-game action When we arrive at the game, Sharkie went to eat Gyendolynne's head. My buddy Hopper. I think he was surprised by me taking a photo of him. This is Gyendolynne and her friend Susan. -

^Great photo of the stadium Ted! ^^I think the excitement from it being the last series and the last game at Yankee Stadium is what sold me. We had a great time. I'm glad I got out there before they knocked it down. Now I have to get to Fenway and Wrigley...Life would be complete at that point! -

^^Okay, the Big Mike story time. This is actually pretty incredible! When we were told the tickets wouldn’t be there until 6:30 at the earliest, Mike said, “Let me talk to someone.” I thought, who is he going to talk to? He talked to the security guard who told him to talk to the press window. Jim, JJ and I just sat and waited, not knowing what he was doing. He came back and said, “I can get us in! Follow me fellers.” We were walking up the aisle where the players enter. The fans were up against the barriers and Mike says, “This way guys.” A cop stopped him. We thought, this is over. Mike tells the cop that he is supposed to talk to another cop to get through here. “Jenna” (I am protecting her real name) in the press office said it was okay. The cop lets us through! Jim, JJ and I walked about 10 feet behind Mike out of fear that the cops would jump him at any moment. Then the next funniest thing happened. The crowd started chanting, “Derek Jeter.” Mike screams, “Hey it’s Derek Jeter!” He walks right up to him and took his picture. Unfortunately the photo didn’t come out and I didn’t have my camera out either. At this point I’m thinking we’re done. A cop is going to jump him….NOPE! We continued to the press office where Mike told his story to “Jenna” earlier. She asked if we were all there and they let us in the stadium…WITH NO TICKETS! Is that how it happened Mike, or do you want to embelish? Honestly, my story has no embelishing in it. I like to add things to the story, but this was way too good as it was. -

This will be the final update from the New York trip. What a great time we had! Big Mike is an awesome host. Thanks so much dude. I will try to make comments on the photos where I can. I am running out of "smart" things to say... Thanks for the Memories! It was a great weekend. Now I have to get the "hotel" fixed up for the Big Mike Road Show's arrival tomorrow. The Yankees took a final lap around the field. Final speech... I can't believe that anyone would run on the field. One idiot did. They took Jeter out before the final out. The crowd gave him a standing ovation. Bob Sheppard had a poem. God Bless America for the 7th inning stretch! Grounds crew doing YMCA for the final time. This was the total attendance since 1923. I figured that if the 5 of us didn't show up, the figure would have been - 151,959,000... See ya Andy. Pettitte threw a great game. Instead of saying zero, they went with Forever because the games will continue on across the street. Time for the stadium countdown. I thought the life-size Derek Jeter bobblehead was pretty cool. Johnny Damon hits a 3-run homerun. First pitch, sorry it is so blurry. Your umpires for tonight's game. Babe Ruth says I'll see you next door. That's where our seats are. I thought it would be great to see this area in left field. They brought out the 1923 "team" There it is! They had some pre-game ceremonies. The first one was unveiling their first title. I am happy too! Big Mike is happy with his ticket! This is our group! You can see that our seats were in left field for the final game. Helicopter provided some great views on TV. Mike was down there too, taking the photo. Jim made it down to the field to take a photo with Brian. The Big man and Jim headed down to talk to Brian and get a couple of autographed baseballs. Yankees warming up before Batting Practice. Big Mike says "HI" to his TPR readers while he was at the game. They were allowing people on the field. We were late and the closed it before we could get there. One more game... I thought it would be good to take in the Stadium a little bit. Way to go Mike! Thanks for doing what you did. Amazingly he did it! I don't know what Big Mike can do, or say, that will get us in before 6:30. Are you kidding me? The lines are huge! How is Big Mike going to get us into Yankee Stadium without a ticket? No need to fear fellers, I will take care of this. First stop, will call. What do you mean our tickets aren't ready and won't be ready until 6:30? We're here at 2:30! Hi Yankee Stadium, one more time, Thanks for the Memories! -

^^We missed you too! Brian did say that it was a HUGE honor to be involved in 2 very special events. Coaster Palooza 2008, and The Big Mike Road Show. We asked him about closing Yankee Stadium, and he said, "Oh yeah, that would be 3 big events. Thanks for reminding me..."
