Thanks for posting that great video. Kind of funny to call a video of a coaster being dismantled great, but I love this park. Grew up close by so it was my first home park. Used to go there all the time in the mid to late '70's Rode my first coaster there, the Galaxy What a hoot. Glad to see they're keeping the park up so well and adding new things.

^^^ Jon, I remember how you rode this on the Oktoberfest trip at Belantis park. I was right behind you I think and you just spun and spun and spun non-stop I was amazed at how you got the knack so fast. Slighty different model, more like the old Condor rides, just went up and stayed up. Glad BPB is getting this one. They're a lot of fun.

I love them too. Great way to see something I may have missed and to look again at things I thought were great or real funny. I like them a lot. They also brighten a sometimes dreary Mondays' email list. Keep them coming!

I'm impressed! Pretty effing good so far Pretty effing funny! Those small parks are awesome. I didn't know Mr. T was gone either.

I am SO GLAD you got a picture of me at the buffet spread in Bakken (that's me on the right) Believe it or not, that spread is one of my strongest memories of the trip I'm not a very adventurous eater but I LOVE HERRING There must have been about 15 different kinds of herring on that table I never saw such variety before I was in heaven! And Tom was busting a lot of moves all through the trip I remember him singing "Umbrella" by Rihanna on one particular rainy day So Funny!!

Great pics Jason Thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories That trip meant so much to me It set a very high bar That was my second TPR extravaganza and I was much more at ease. The one bus gave us all a great chance to get to know each other really well

Thanks Hanno, As ALWAYS fantastic photos. I am sooooooooooo happy to see the restraint system. Looks just like Blue Fire at Europa, another Mack I really think they are the best of any I've ever been on. Thoose were such a joy to ride and not feel crammed in or bounce your head and neck off the OTSR. Bravo!

Thanks for the Incredible report. Great info and photos. Looks like a fun place. Reminds me of Wildwood NJ, they have the original motels and resorts and are trying to spruce up what they call the Doo-Wop era and the Googie architecture of those bygone days. I guess that was the hey day for alot of beach resorts of the day. I hate to say I vaguely remember when stuff like this was "in style". But it was mostly fading away being replaced with the 1970's modern groovy era. Great to see it celebrated again. As they say, everything old is new again. (G*d do I sound OLD)

You guys are such great ambassadors for NYC! I think the city should hire you for the tourist board. Always great to see anyone enjoying the sights and activities of what we locals consider the Capital of the Universe (such humble and plain folk we are) Anyone planning a visit could check out NYC Go The Offical Guide http://www.nycgo.com/ Although there are many other sites for anyone with a particular interest, Museums, Parks, Music, Food. Thank you for the wonderful TWO Pizzza lunch with Cupcake desert. Fried Pizza dough is a new favorite!!! And I love the Broadway musical / Roller Coaster comparison. Much better than the regular theater critics. (just one thing missing, a picture of your testicles )

Two questions Do you miss the videos of TPR trip antics or like the coaster POV's? & POVs: Front seat or back seat? Robb, I know you explained that the POVs got a lot more views (and are easier to put together) but I really miss the old "antics"

GREAT report! I grew up about 10 miles from this park and used to go there all the time in the '70's. It was a great small home park then and looks as if it has been kept up very well. It was actually a little smaller on the old days. Rode my first coaster there, a Galaxy, used to be where the Hurricane is now. That was also the end of the park, everything from there back has been added over the years, including the parking lot. They had a few more thrill rides back then, they must have on of the first parks to get an Enterprise and I loved that ride. They also had a Paratrooper and a Trabant that they used to have a great long cycle on. Also gone are the Toboggan and Sky ride. Such fun memories as a kid!!! Thanks

Just a hunch on my part too, but it's usually The Coney Island Cyclone on their opening day Sunday March 24th. After riding it over 100 times in one day last year for Coasting for Kids, I think I'm finally ready to get back on it again.

So sad, I really liked Knightmare, and the whole park, gasoline powered Dragon Coaster was a "gas" So GLAD I got to visit with TPR in 2010. Thanks again to R & E
