What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
fiestatexasfan replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Roadrunner Express at SFFT. -
yep.. I'll never understand those that can't just enjoy a park for what it is, and have to bitch and moan. in the past couple of years, SFoT got: Justice League dark ride, Joker Coaster, Riddler pendulum, and Catwoman next gen enterprise. not to mention the beautifully realized Gotham City area improved with these additions, an the perfect retheme in Harley's Spinsanity. go back a year before, and Texas Skyscreamer. the park has Shockwave, NTAG, and a bunch of other coasters. go enjoy, and stop complaining. sheesh. I totally agree. People need to be thankful that they get to go to amusement parks while some people are living on the streets with no home and starving... it's sad that some people complain that their park never gets anything new when their park is spending $10 M+ on new additions every year.

I signed up for them to email me their stock list, and it wasn't on there. They are still probably refurbishing it though. -

I wonder if 1870 is a real AM radio.. I don't think CP would go THAT far with the teasers. -
Track Spottings!

It's in the Netherlands at Most Amusement Rides and is getting refurbished I thought this was a joke but that website is legit. Never knew it existed. -
Every other RMC conversion for the SF chain since Texas Giant has taken place in one off season. Texas Giant was the first, so naturally that took a little more time to perfect and as others have stated, Texas Giant was a much larger undertaking. Georgia Cyclone will most likely be open by, or around Memorial Day Weekend of 2018. Every other Six Flags RMC has been completed in a similar timeframe to the likely Georgia Cyclone timeframe. SFDK Roar closed 8/16/2015 Joker opened 5/30/2016 SFFT Rattler closed 8/4/2012 Iron Rattler opened 5/25/2013 SFM Medusa (wood) closed late 2013 (RCDB doesn't give exact date) Medusa Steel Coaster opened 6/14/2014 SFMM Colussus closed 8/16/2014 Twisted Colossus opened 5/23/2015 SFNE Cyclone closed 7/20/2014 Wicked Cyclone closed 5/24/2015 It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to see the RMC Cyclone open slightly before Memorial Day (however, SF has held completed rides until that time with NTAG being an exception as it opened in April 2011) Yeah, I don't see why it wouldn't be ready for 2018. They probably started early on MS and Hurler since MS is bigger and they have 7 projects this year.

No, they are dumb. They can obviously see bright new steel track on what was a wood coaster. What thinking person would think new track means it's being torn down? There is also the fact that you don't need to be precise and exacting if it's being completely torn down. They can tear down a wood coaster really quick if you have no need to save parts or relocate it. They could just wrecking ball it over the off season. So can you casually walk past a auto body shop and know if new parts, after market parts or second hand parts are being installed. If not car enthusiasts think you are dumb. That is perfectly said. Paying attention to what is going on with MS is probably most of the GP's least of worries. -
I like NTAG better too mainly because it's longer and has more airtime.

Most Intense Schwarzkopf Coaster?

Shockwave at Six Flags Over Texas pulls a lot of G's and is the most intense in my opinion
