The BGA ops have gotten much better. They were pretty bad in '03 and '04, but the park has really straightened up. I haven't seen "bad operations" there in the past few years. --Robb I'm going to back this up. I had some really horrible experiences at BGA in '03 or so, enough to dub it my least favorite major park. But over the last couple of years, the visits we've had there have been excellent, and the staff has been really efficient and polite, with multiple trains on all the major coasters. In fact, I'd say the last two times I went to FL the operations at BGA were better than what I witnessed at IOA. Which is sort of sad. Anyway, my preference between the two parks is for BGA, just because of Kumba and Montu. I could ride these two coasters all day and never get tired of them. dt

^Agreed. The purchase of the Starliner makes no sense. When the whole project is over, won't the cost be about the same as buying a new woodie? And it's not like the Starliner is some sort of legendary ride that will draw in huge crowds. Overall, not a wise business decision. dt

More awesome photos and the best captions yet! I especially enjoyed the Starship reference. Epcot is a great park. If they would somehow move Dinosaur over there, it would instantly become the best park ever. Maybe they should re-do Spaceship Earth as Dinosaur, that way you'd really have time to enjoy all the darkness with the really slow moving vehicles. dt

Red Circuit - Go Straight dt

First, like others have already said, head out to the store and try out a bunch of different brands/stlyes of guitars. See what feels good in your hands and sounds good to you. Play them both sitting down and standing up. See how well the guitar balances on you. Some people find certain guitars too heavy for them, and you want to find this out before spending your money. Now, I personally find the modern era Stratocasters to be cheaply made, and Gibson guitars to be vastly overrated for the price. I much prefer stuff from smaller companies like Paul Reed Smith or Brian Moore. I have a Brian Moore guitar, and it is easily the finest guitar I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Ibanez also makes some really good guitars, and are worth checking out. If you're going to spend a lot of money on a guitar, take the time to audition a lot of instruments, and don't totally rely on reviews or marketing hype. Get the instrument that best suits you and your playing style. dt
