This park did rock, and that mouse was insane. I really think at some points on the track it was only on two wheels. And we cannot forget about the insane Togo Flat Ride Of Death. I've never seen one of these anywhere else, and I must say that it was one of the best flat rides I have ever been on. dt

Parque Espania did indeed rock. Chuck's report pretty much covers my feelings on the place. The bullfight coaster was BRUTAL! A doctor's office should set up shop just outside the exit. They'd retire in a week just from re-aligning spines. And Musical Circus was the greatest dark ride ever. I've really been trying to describe it to people, but unless you've actually seen it, you really cannot understand how bizarre, screwed up, and yet entertaining it was. I'm glad we rode it twice, as I wasn't sure that I had not just hallucinated my first experience... dt -

Great America to be sold?
Meteornotes replied to beyond-redline's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I went ahead and changed the topic header of the other GA topic to let people know about the discussion of the potential park sale there, so post your thoughts or links to news articles about the potential sale there. Thanks. dt -
Yes, everyone please use the Introduction topic that is at the very top of the page. Thanks. dt

Yeah, gotta go with Eagle Fortress. That ride was amazing. dt -
The Wii is the most fun video game system I have ever owned. I rarely turn on my X-Box or PS2 any more. dt

Hello, There's an Introduction topic right at the top of the Random forum. Please use that for these kinds of posts, otherwise the board would get very cluttered. Thanks. dt

Awesome report. A shame about the Terror Tram, as what they had last year sounded amazing. Not sure why they didn't keep going in that direction. Hopefully they'll get a lot of negative feedback and change it back. Trust me, you do not want this. You think those death metal guys can't sing? You haven't heard me. Yet. WATCH THE VIDEO! dt

Yeah, that was screwed up! Don't you have a picture of that? This park rocked. The mini-Klotte coaster was great, and Magical Powder was only rivaled by Circus Musical for the most screwed up dark ride ever award. The shooting dark ride was also cool, and you got random cards at the end of it (I got Crazy Mushroom!). Falafel and I also rode some sort of 3D movie ride that was totally screwed up and didn't make a bit of sense and it made my head hurt. I can't remember the name of it now. Which is probably a good thing, as this ride was not good. I miss Japan! dt

Nope. I hope to never see Fuji-Q again. That place was the hellhole of the damned, and I'd rather spend the day poking myself with sharp things rather than wait around all day for craptacular coasters. Seriously, when Hamtaro is the best ride there, your ride collection might not be up to par. I really think that any future trips to Japan include Fuji-Q as an option, where you can take that bus to the park if you like. I'll spend my money at a park where I'm actually treated like a customer and will actually have some fun. Actually, I should take that back, I did have fun at Fuji-Q. But it wasn't because of any of the rides or anything, it's because Falafel is awesome and the two of us together equals entertainment, and we would have a good time in a field of broken bottles. Which I probably should not have typed here, as I've given them an idea, and Im sure the Shattered Glass Playzone will soon be announced as their 2008 attraction... dt

Elissa's Random Thought of the Day!
Meteornotes replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Agreed, an hour makes no sense. And I really doubt that many people show up at the park an hour before closing, so I don't see how this would impact the park at all. Stupid SFMM! dt -

Yeah, I agree, MG was favorite park on the trip after Disney and Universal. The place is huge, and there is a ton of fun stuff to do. I'm sort of bummed I missed the haunted toilet (I can't do walk thru attractions due to my eye problem). Perhaps next time. And I did survive the mini-chairlift death attraction. Twice. That was pretty scary. dt -
There should always be consent for boob credits. That's just common politeness. I will say, though, that it is very odd that the person that creates and runs Elissa Bingo to keep all trip participants entertained is never offered any new boob credits. Unfair! I also think at this point that Elissa Bingo is sort of played out. So look for a brand new and different game on the '08 trips. It will still be fun, you'll still get to torture Elissa, and there will still be awesome prizes! dt

Hello, You should post any TPR trip questions to the Official Trip Thread, where they'll more likely be seen and answered: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38249 To answer your questions quickly, the price is for one person (sharing a hotel room with another person on the trip), and the prices do not include airfare. dt
