^Any chance this might also have something to do with that minimum height issue and the park waiting to hear from Vekoma about modifying that? Aside from the permits, I can't imagine construction really needing to take that long considering rides of similar (and larger) sizes have gone up in less time than this. I guess for me, looking at Kennywood's Sky Rocket, Six Flags Great America's Little Dipper and Dorney's Demon Drop are examples of how fast construction can go... I don't really know why a simple roller skater would take some much time...

I don't know about you guys, but I loved every minute of it. It all made so much sense, and yet so little. If they did anything right with the finale, it was that they kept up the mysterious nature of each clue and each answer until the very end. And the last 30 seconds of the show sent the very same chills down my spine that I got in the first 30 seconds of the pilot episode over six years ago. Full circle would be an understatement, and I'm fine with that. I felt that I wouldn't have any desire to re-watch this show after the finale, but tonight's finale changed my mind. I'll wait for a Blu-Ray series release and I'll be set. My Summer has been made.

No worries about the black bars... On my 24" Vizio, the video covers the full screen in pristine 1080p quality. I showed my father (the biggest HD skeptic I know) the footage from Intimidator and from Insane, and the two segments sold him on Blu-Ray entirely. When you watch that Intimidator footage with a 1080p capable television and an HDMI connection to support it, you'll swear you were sitting in the front row of the ride, considering that the depth and quality of the video make you want to reach out and touch the sleek front of that Intamin monster!
